In a meadow green, where daisies sway, Lived Kathleen, a pig, in her own peculiar way. Her snout was rosy, her eyes round and bright, And she wiggled her tail with sheer delight.

Kathleen loved mud baths, oh, how she’d dive, Her oinks echoed through the day and night. She’d roll and snuffle, her pink skin aglow, A piggy ballet in the soft, squishy loam.

Her friends were the cows and the curious crow, Who’d perch on her back, sharing secrets they know. “Kathleen,” they’d whisper, “you’re more than a swine, You’re a poet of puddles, a muse so divine!”

And Kathleen would twirl, her hooves in the air, Composing pig sonnets with flair and with care. She’d rhyme about clover, the moon, and the dew, Her verses a symphony only farm animals knew.

So here’s to Kathleen, our porcine bard true, With ink-stained trotters and dreams that flew. For even in mud, she found beauty and grace, A pig with a heart as big as the open space.
