great game, great story. the lines is bit on cheesy side. but it manage to barely thread the line between too cringe to too cheesy. handling is good and all i say is it good that this game is the few games this year that was make with passion and love. nowadays that pretty rare as a shiny pokemon. especially when we talk about triple a games.

Well, Can't Believe i'm saying this but, Don't Buy This Game With Full Price, It A Great Game, But The Asking price is overpriced(i mean 60 - 80 dollar game with no region pricing? EA Moment), bruh, anyway here TLDR:
story get the job done, handling is decent, car list is good, career is meh(just grid 19 2.0), no management like 08 because you stuck with manzi for story reason.

Pros -
Story:
Just Like F1 2021 Breaking Point, It Get The Job Done As an Appetizer, but if you like the protagonist of Toca Race Driver 1(or V8 Race Driver/DTM Race Driver depending on your region) Ryan Mckane, then don't play the story cause they just ruin his legacy.
OST: Ost is a banger, but it not used to their fully potential thanks to it being exclusive to the driven to glory.
Car List:
It Great with some banger cars like F40LM, Skyline, Jesko(for some reason it exclusive to pre order bonus).
now the cons -
Career:
to put it simply. it just grid 19 2.0. no management like the OG Grid 08. Team-mate? nope you stuck with valentin manzi for story reason. and sponsor? it just a checkbox for "extra money".
Damage:
well, damage model is still dogs**t. ♥♥♥ Sake
well, i give it 6/10.

Ah yes. yakuza like a dragon. everyone said that this is Persona and yakuza decided to collab a bit. it was supposed to be beat them up like the other games. but they be like: you know what. ♥♥♥♥ the beat them up. let turn the april fool Joke combat into a real thing. so here we are. the
controversial turn based combat. plenty of people got pissed about it. and to rub a knock off wiskey barrel of salt. ign said that yakuza will be turn based for now on. but hey. enough rambling. into the review!
Combat:
Turn based combat. it a bit slow because you not pressing the attack button to do the combo.rather the turn based combat do it for you. a lot of people HATED THIS because all of them are boomers that cant get used to change and want their beat them up. i say thanks to a 200+ on persona 5(combined with Original and Royal) i gonna quote a rocko mordern life: Alright. I accept change. there a lot of wacky ♥♥♥♥ like you can go be a gta online player and blow those pricks with ichiban cannon in space(how the ♥♥♥ he got that btw?), chinese gore akechi Zhao can do a jackie chan and use the ladder to beat all enemies, Nanba can go full naruto and use Fire Release: Blast Wave Wild Dance with his supermarket beer, Han Joon - Gi with Bury the light playing inside his head go ballastic with his sword. making his "brother" proud(foolishness ichiban! is spamming the same tag team move all you can do?!). i can go on forever but, it gonna take a lot of text. so yeah. combat may be slow but, damm if they crank the stylishness to the max with their Kiwami Move.
Story:

But serious note. it a fantastic story to introduce the new protagonist: Ichiban Kasuga.
i like the english dub, and i gonna put my hand over the roaring fire: I think english dub is
more emotional that Japanese. moving on!
Difficluty:
Nothing to say because i yoinked a save cause im only here for the story.
Soundtrack:
♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, it a banger. my personal fav is: Receive and turn you. receive you ver.7, overcoming
the dragon and light and darkness.
Overall since i never/barely touch the side stories cause i mostly a main story guy. i say i give it:

Need a lot of cash to fully enjoy the game cause all of the cool cars are locked behind the dlc.

well,after 10 hour of playing the game.i finished it with all races dominated.
i tell you.it a very fun game.
pros:
great damage model
good sense of speed
control is easy to learn but.hard to master
plenty of gamemode like pure race(shindo race),"burnout" race(dominator race),road rage(frag race),ect.
cons:
no multiplayer cause the server is shut down on 2015
some race are pain in the @$$ to donimate/3 star(i ******* hate the stunt time attack)
that it for now,my score is:

Well,after 6 hour from the free weekend,i say the game is decent.

Well,this game is great.
here my pros:
-There a lot of cars that are not in many games(Like The Ferrari F430)
-Lot Of Variety to keep you playing(Quote from StraightUpHippo)
-not a big guy with handling but,people said that it feel like GRID 1/Race Driver Grid
-The racing is crazy cause ai can now do a human error(Like spin out,Understeer,heck,even slam into a wall).and
there a lot of random crazy thing can happen like an ai suddenly lose his/her wheel,or flip over.
-there a cockpit view that nfs heat are missing.
that all of my pros.
now into the cons:
-the damage model is not good.no more wheel flying off when you hit the wall at highspeed like previous grid
-small but,the commentator is too damn quiet(barely hear them when you in cockpit view).they should turn up the volume so i can hear them.
-this game only have race event and time trail.that all.(no drift,no touge,and no proper demolition derby race)
so,my verdict:
the game is great but,not perfect.so i say i give it:
