Think twice before buying

This game almost killed my love for Star Wars. But first of all, I want to stress that UBISOFT ARE LIARS. When you buy the Ultimate Edition, you will not get all the DLC in your Steam library, even though you should. Instead, after two months of correspondence, Ubisoft support told me to “just buy them again” so they would appear in my account. So keep that in mind.

Now about the game: I don’t understand why this droid is on every poster. You probably think, just like I did, that you will be playing alongside him. No! He will be sitting on the ship 98% of the time. And even when he does come outside, he will do absolutely nothing.

The story. It exists, but at the same time it doesn’t. The game is built around treasure hunting, but you won’t find a single one! I spent 90 hours finishing this game (and collecting everything), and in the end I got nothing. No treasures, no wealth that the main character was searching for. Even the second DLC, which was supposed to lead us to treasures, didn’t. The story seemed close to it, we were in ancient ruins, but in the end you just have to run away, WITHOUT GETTING ANYTHING!
Oh wait, no — you do get something: a line from the droid saying that “the real treasure is friends.”

To sum up, the only positive thing I can say about this game is the beautiful landscapes. That’s it. This is not Star Wars. This is something else entirely.

P.S. Also, the game has NO New Game+. Which means all the clothes, all the ship, blaster, and speeder upgrades you collected throughout the game (mostly near the end) simply disappear and have no practical use for a second playthrough.

On top of that, the achievements are broken. If you didn’t perform a certain action “on time” during some quests, you simply won’t be able to complete it after finishing the game. Even though the logic of the game allows you to start it — and it does start — the buttons to pick up the weapon just don’t appear. As a result, to get one achievement, you need to replay the entire game.
