Short, sweet, simple little platformer game about a little samurai dog out on a quest to rescue his buff boyfriend. There's very little in terms of a plot. You just have to deal with a handful of baddies in their own unique stages a-la Mega Man style.

The stages themselves are nothing too complex, but there are still plenty of little hidden nooks and crannies to keep you busy. Combat is fine for what it is. I appreciate the ways this game leans into being a simple Game Boy platformer with a simple control layout that accomplishes simple actions.

The difficulty is just right, especially for a first-time playthrough. You'll spend a little time getting familiar with stage hazards and boss attack patterns, but none of it outstays its welcome.

You can easily 100% this game and its achievements in a single sitting as I have. Give it a spin!

Super tight controls with loose and fluid physics, really cool movement tech (ESPECIALLY with the secret weapon!) and a whole slew of creepy and interesting monsters pitted against the cute little rat terrier you play as. Wrap it all up with a simple plot, a lighthearted sense of humor and a delicious 2a03/NES style musical score and you've got yourself a wonderful little action/platformer outing that you'll enjoy from beginning to end! Short and sweet with loads of replay value for anyone looking for a challenge. Can't wait to see speedruns of this game!
