Proto Rush is one of two nearly identical fun Contra clone indie games that's mainly just a boss rush game with a set of 10 unique bosses utilizing 4 different weapons. For a mere 5 bucks, its definitely worth the purchase of admission for anyone that's a fan of contra games and boss rush game modes.

One of the most buggiest unpolished platformer games I've ever beaten with so many technical issues:

- Terrible awful hit detection to where many times I've either stuck on moving floating platforms or getting stuck in walls after getting hit by monsters.
- melee and magic is mostly useless(even after max upgrading from coin grinding) except for bosses as rushing through them in levels is the better option.
- Saves can be very buggy as at least once before beating it, the game mysteriously clears 2 levels I didn't beat in the lava world after reloading my save O_o

The one good positive thing I like about this game is it's retro art style but sadly its buggy gameplay ruins it & turns into a poor frustrating mess :(

NOTE: The Athenian Rhapsody Demo & the standalone Thunder Goober's Personality Dungeon are literally the same game so I really put in over 14 hours and beat it 6 times.

Fun bullet hell turn based RPG which are heavily inspired by Earthbound & Undertale with some of the most goofiest character designs & dialogue I've ever seen in a video game and I'm all for it 😂🤣

Update(11/21/2023): Still a fun game but when will the main game come out developer!!??

Really fun fast pace hack n slash game heavily inspired by YS & Legend of Zelda games but with...unlockable furry gay porn scenes!?

Now before you click "Funny" on my review hear me out: when I mean "heavily inspired YS & Legend of Zelda" , the gameplay & level design are really top notch good and the developer really knew what he was doing so this is a LOT more than just your typical lazy shovalware porn game on Steam 😎👍

A very fun abstract atmospheric 2D platformer with multiply endings.

The game can also be played on the Steam Deck however the game unintentionally runs twice at the intended speed making the precise platforming jumps very difficult if not nearly impossible but luckily this can be adjusted via Steam Deck performance mode settings :)

From the creators of the original Sokoban and Megaman II Gameboy comes quite possibly the worst Castlevania clone I've ever played in my life from the NES. This game is so bad in terms of level design & awful hit detection to where it makes Frankenstein: The Monster Returns a masterpiece.

As for being a PC port, its just a modify rom slap on an custom emulator with limited display settings and no controller support as the game doesn't recognized the Steam Deck's buttons so I had to make a custom controller layout that binds them to keyboard inputs in order to properly play the game.

Best way to describe this amazingly fun obscure 2D platformer is that its basically Castlevania meets H.R Geiger and Junji Ito 😈💜

As a long time fan of Destiny since Destiny 1 beta, Lightfall was the most underwhelming expansion I've ever played in nearly 9 years since D2 vanilla with meh campaign, new sub class that was misrepresented during the campaign & then nerfed a month later and disappointing season 20 where even its story fell flat to me.

Season 21 "Season of the Deep" also didn't do it for me to where I'm just going to tapped out of Destiny 2 until next year's "The Final Shape" expansion :(

Nice free playable benchmark of the new upcoming Alone of the Dark game to where it runs on the Steam Deck great with FSR Performance mode on with medium graphic settings at an almost stable 60 fps 😎👍

Not as fun as Banban 1 and 2 gameplay & presentation wise as Banban 3 felt like 75% walking simulator with voiceover cutscenes of a confusing storyline, 20% easy-ish puzzles(a few reused from the first 2 games) and 5% with only 2 monster encounters 🙃

After playing though Banban 3 a 2nd time, I will admit that the *redacted* boss fight is actually quite fun but everything feels like the devs are trying to pad out their game with unnecessary long cutscenes so it people wouldn't beat this game under 2 hours to refund it(Spoilers: A LOT of people beat if under 2 hours on their first playthough). I feel like the devs should put more time in their games than just barely 2 months on each installment because it really shows that quality has suffered pretty bad compare to the 2nd game :/
