Pretty solid AC Game.

The story is a little heavy-handed; they had to make the Assassin's incredibly obtuse to make Shay's "betrayal" make sense (spoilers!). "Hmm, every time we send someone into one of these Precursor sites, there's an earthquake that destroys the city or general area where the site was. Eh, it's probably coincidental. Don't pay any mind to the fact that one of the people we sent in, Shay, who actually has an idea of what happens in there, says that disturbing the site is what causes the earthquakes. He doesn't know what he's talking about, he's only been an Assassin for a few years." - The Assassin's, essentially.
The Templar perspective is interesting, since they can explore it further than they did when you played as Haytham in ACIII, since they weren't being all esoteric, playing it for a dramatic reveal. The Assassin's 'Freedom, no matter what' versus the Templar's 'Order is sometimes needed' conflict is fun to see from the other side, since they both have some valid points... even if Ubi usually makes the side you're not playing for over-the-top evil. Shades of grey are a thing, and make for great stories, you guys!

This game runs on the same engine as Black Flag, so the gameplay is almost identical; the combat is utterly trivial, press E at the right time and then left click, the parkour can be clunky and difficult to control at times, and the stealth is almost non-existent.

The collectibles turn into a chore pretty quick, and there's just SO MANY TYPES: the Animus Fragments and Chests you're familiar with if you've played previous games, Prosperity, which slightly increases the money you gain from several sources for every five you collect, War Letters and Cave Paintings, which give you lore pages, and Native Pillars, Templar Maps, Viking Swords, and Templar Crosses, all of which lead to outfits: Native Armor, Templar 11th Century Armor, Viking Armor, and Sir James Gunn's Armor, respectively.

If this game hadn't been by Ubi's B-team (Unity was in development at the same time, and what they were focusing on), this honestly could have the best Assassin's Creed game.

Overall, probably worth a buy if you like the older AC games and haven't played it yet, but please, for me, don't bother with all the collectibles. God, the collectibles...

Oh, when EA released good games! (DICE made it, EA published it.)
The quintessential parkour game. And it looks INCREDIBLE, too. Released in 2009 on PC (and so likely made in 2006-2008) and it's environments rival some of the best current games. One of those games you really should not miss.

It's free, it's fun, and it has sharply-dressed Demon-girls. What's not to love?

Oldie but a goodie. One of my all-time favorite stealth games. Go for Low Chaos, for me <3

Fun game. The combat isn't as free as the Assassin's Creed games, but it's not super challenging; you can kill dozens of Uruks without getting hit. I really like micro-managing my Captains and Warchiefs, seeing how strong I can get them. If you don't think you'd enjoy that, it still might be worth a playthrough for the story, but it's a pretty niche genre that I think most people wouldn't spend lots of hours in.

No PvP, but easily the best PvE of the entire Souls series. The combat is simply phenomenal, and it even has a real-deal story!

Great, if slightly dated, game. Dated as in the hand-to-hand combat is utterly trivial if you know where your E and Left Mouse Buttons are located and the parkour is... adequate, if somewhat janky, difficult to control, and imprecise, at times. Definitely less polished than some of the more recent games (I.E. Unity and Syndicate). The graphics, however, hold up pretty well, even eight years later.
The ship boarding is really fun and a good way to get money.
The story is pretty good, and Edward is a great protagonist. He goes through a great deal of character growth, which is always nice to see.
The Community Challenges are no longer active, so it is, as far as I'm aware, impossible to get one outfit (Explorer), one set of pistols and swords (Captain's Wheellock Pistols and Persian Scimitars respectively), and a few appearance items for the Jackdaw, but neither of the weapons have advantages over anything you can get normally, and while I do really like the Explorer outfit, I guess I can live without it... not that I have much of a choice there :/
It used to be that if you bought the Gold Edition, you wouldn't get Adewale's game, Freedom Cry, but that seems to have been "fixed", since it isn't said that Freedom Cry is included in that pack anymore. Whatever works, I guess ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Overall, my favorite AC game, though my perspective might be slightly stilted because it's, I think, the first Assassin's Creed I played to completion, and I don't care for the newer RPG-style games.
I reckon it's the best mix of modern enough to not feel extremely clunky, while not being an MMO.
P.S.: You can pet dogs, cats, pigs, goats, cows, and possibly some other domesticated animals that I'm either forgetting or don't know about, which is the best feature in any game, bar none. 10/10, would recommend, if only to pet animals.

Pretty fun, Rise is maybe better, but I enjoy all the reboots. "Hard" isn't very hard until they throw about 600 enemies at you, then you'll die a couple times, but other than a little frustration in a couple areas (I died 5+ times to enemies in about four places), I had a really good time beating this on Hard. Haven't tried multiplayer, I doubt anyone is still playing that. I was kidding about 600 enemies, at a max there's probably 20, and you can split them up pretty well.

One of the best games to kill spare time with. Modding community is also excellent. Great purchase, recommended to any and everyone who plays video games.
