When will you learn old man?!?!
Delisting an already great game for a remaster no one ask for, and that arguably looks worse.
Then adding a forced PSN account to it.
Sony is the new Ubisoft, and I hope they burn on PC because of it.

One boss in and I can say this game is completely worth it. Music is great. Story is great. Game play is like Undertale but with a nice twist. You can tell the amount of love the devs and everyone put into this. I'm gonna play the game more and finish some or all of the achievements/endings but after that I'll update this review and put up a Curator review as well. I will say this to anyone who ends up reading this though. Definitely get this game if you like games like Undertale, this definitely feels like it's gonna be one of those hidden gems RPG games that no many people have played, but is amazing.

Everything is expensive, takes way too long to level up characters for bonds, also pretty sure the game either cheats or just has the worst RNG I've ever seen. If you really want a Mahjong game, go play Mahjong Soul or play on Tenhou. Those are far superior to this game. Update, I decided to count all the Yakuman I've seen in my games to prove how rigged this game is. So I've played a total of 214 games in this game off and on since 2023. Of those 214 games, I've seen 45 Yakuman. 45. Of hands that are supposted to be so hard to get that they are worth crazy amounts. Of those 45 Yakuman, I only had 2. In almost every game I play there's atleast one or more Haneman. Which is just crazy. I can play Mahjong Soul or Tenhou all day, everyday for a week straight and still not see a single Yakuman, and barely see a Haneman. But on Riichi City, you'll see them so often that the odds of it happening as often as it does seems off. That's part of the reason I'm sure the game is rigged. So save yourself the trouble and just play a different Riichi game. This one is not it and never will be it. Also before I send this out because this is funny. Wanna know how much all the collab characters are worth to them? This is straight from their website.

$470!!! What the actual f*** Riichi City. Your collab characters are not worth $470, and your game is going to fail more because of your sh*tty gacha than your bad gameplay. And that's saying something since the gameplay is terrible.

Great game. Sucker Punch has done an amazing job with it.....however Sony is a horrible company. Delisting the game from 180 territories and regions, PSN, and just all around being shady. What's next? A Playstation launcher and PS+? If we don't call them out and stop them now, it will only get worse.

WE DIDN'T WIN! THE FIGHT IS STILL ONGOING! It was 177 regions, now it's 180 regions that now can't buy or play this game. We stopped them from adding PSN, yet they still have it delisted. Do not support them until this is resolved! Unless we win this fight, not only will those regions never have access to a Playstation game again, they will continue to push PSN or worse PS+ and/or a PS app! We must stand together and fight against the undemocratic ways of Sony!

FeMC not in the game, and $30 for the Aegis episode, which is 2 hours long. Atlus is slowly becoming EA.

DRM added in after the game has been out. Not only is that shady AF, it also shows that they do not care about the game nor the people who have bought it.

Star Ocean The Second Story and Second Evolution are some of my all time favorite games. Star Ocean The Second Story R does something I didn't expect and makes them even better. This is the definitive version of the game.

Great Hanafuda game. However do not get any of the DLC/add-ons they are not worth it.

Not worth it. The AI cheats at later levels.
