Early Access Review
This game is an absolute blast to play. It is a deckbuilding turn-based combat game where you play a secret agent fighting your way through multiple criminal organizations. Your deck consists of cards depicting (mostly) hand-to-hand combat moves to deal damage as well as movement cards used to navigate the arenas. There is a large variety of cards you can collect that can be combined into deep, complex strategies. There is a great feeling of emergent situations that play out as you navigate the combination of enemies, obstacles, and what cards you drew for the turn.
It requires a lot of thinking ahead predicting what will happen during the current turn and setting up for future turns. It is highly rewarding to get out of an impossible situation by manipulating the enemies to hurt/push each other around and avoid damage. It gets much harder as you go through the game, as the enemies become more complex and gain health and damage buffs when they reappear in later levels.
I played a ton of this game when it released, and it barely feels like an early access game. It could definitely be improved by some balance fixes, mostly dealing with the cards and deckbuilding. The card rewards after winning a fight are random, and it can be frustrating if you keep getting presented with a set of cards that you don't want in rewards. The randomization keeps it fresh, but it also means that the quality of your run depends heavily on luck.
On the bright side I have played through many hundreds of fights, and only twice have I run across a scenario where it was completely impossible to survive the first round of a fight because of the starting placement and types of enemies.

The positive, fun aspects of the game far outweigh the frustrations of the luck-based aspects. Even when I get unlucky, it's more a feeling of "Better luck next time" and a good story to tell.
It's already worth the price, and should get better with the improvements on the roadmap.
