As the precursor to DS3, it has a lot of similarities without the polish. Some things are really great about this one specifically, however if you really liked DS1 this may not be your cup of tea. Either way, it's worth a shot and playthrough, like any Souls game.

Honestly, I was enjoying this game, and you likely will. For a while. However, the game is still basically alpha, wrought with mesh failures, random character deletion, and server rollbacks for announced reasons and times. Especially disappointing they would increase the price before actually finishing their game. Seriously, do not bother.

A great game with a great modding community. The only negative thing about this game is the steep learning curve, however after beating that the game only gets more enjoyable. 8.5/10
