Absolute garbage; it keeps asking to install gamespy and punkbuster, which I've no interest in as I don't wish to play online and don't wish to have intrusive junk on my system and go through the process of manually disabling them, plus there are intensely irritating intro screens:

A EA game logo (unskippable)...then

A crytek maximum game logo...

then a NIVIDIA logo....

then a core intel logo....

then a sign that says something like "online interaction not rated by...something"

Then another screen about Crytek all rights reserved something or other (unskippable).

It's precisely like that youtube video "if Quake was done today", and obviously the inspiration for that part of the video.

Then the whole thing crashes back to desktop within 30 seconds of reaching the main menu, every time. Not a good user experience.
