I can't say I like it, horribly optimized, general mechanics are nothing new, and an overall toxic playerbase.

Been playing since 2018, one of my favorite games to pass the time vibin to some music. Love DE and there constant support.

I would like to thank the horse that kindly saved me and my friends from starvation.

Honestly, absolutely hated this game initially, my buddy bought it for me so I reluctantly installed and played for a little bit, couldn’t figure out how to do a single thing. Run, starve, die, rinse, repeat. That little bit turned into hours of a frustratingly unintuitive tutorial system. It wasn’t until I turned to the wonderful(ly pessimistic) community and watched someone who knew how to play.

Since then, this game has been like a hard drug, it kinda feels like a combination of Green Hell, DayZ, and Project Zomboid. There is depth in video games.. and then there’s SCUM. I have NEVER played a game this immersive without mods or tons of tweaking.

The first holy sh*t moment was when me and my buddy where scavenging in the night-time and found a tractor that was in working condition, drove it down the road and continued looting, and left the headlights on.. it died. So I jokingly hopped in my tractor and said “it’d be cool if we could bump start it” as I drove away in neutral, started rolling pretty fast downhill and then I hear it start up and me and my buddy burst out laughing out of complete shock. Hands down, the most fun I’ve had playing a survival game since the release of Minecraft.

If you like the Project Zomboid style interactive UI/inventory system, with the grit of something like Green Hell. YOU WILL LOVE THIS GAME! A lot of people like to hate on this game, I really don’t understand why.

Haven’t encountered many bugs at all and most of the things I thought were bugs were just inexperience. The game is absolutely beautiful. I’m not much of an RP guy (pause) but this game just puts me in the experience so well I can’t help but get into it, Somehow, just sitting by the fire with the bros drinking a beer, off 30 grams of mushrooms each.. is really fun.

My only complaint is that I think this game might have the worst tutorial in any game bar none; this game would take off into the stratosphere if only the tutorial system was more comprehensible initially. Props to the devs, love it or hate it this is quite the experience.

As I wrote this I took a sh*t on my buddy’s bedroll.

Honestly, given the price I didn't have high hopes. BUT... after playing this game goes so far above and beyond the 8 bucks there asking for. 9/10 solid title for the price. The issues I had that probably only bother me were minimal, such as sub par animations and at times some clunky AI and UI.

If you like horror (Sh**s a lil spooky fs) and if you have a friend or two that'll play, or don't mind playing in public lobbies. Pick it up.

Wait until the full release.. needs much more polish (Much MUCH more) and it's currently too buggy and changing too fast to be taken seriously, also you WILL lose your progress in each update, including prestige levels. Think of this game as a rust aim trainer more than anything, it still CAN be fun but there's many variables. In it's current state I'd be happy if it played like a 30 dollar game but it simply does not at the moment. Still hopeful for the future.

Typical Bugisoft but if you can get past that, its a well written and immersive game.

Fun game easily sunk days into this game.

This game is FUN! Obviously needs a bit more work but if you like breaking stuff then this game is for you.
Ran fine on a Gtx 1660, the framerate was horrible after destroying the entire map, but thats to be expected LMAO!
