This game is trash and EA has forced us to play to unlock skins for an actual good game (BF6). I dont recommend spending time nor money on this game.

Hitman World of Assassination is an encapsulation of a half decade of work by developer IOI to produce the most content complete modern stealth game. Unfortunately, the stealth genre is in desperate need of more modern additions, but until then, World of Assassination is deservedly at the top of the pyramid.

To start, each location is like a puzzle box that can be solved in an endless amount of ways. The goal is not simply to eliminate your targets, but to do so in style, particularly, in your own unique style.

Want to disguise yourself as a party server and poison a target's sushi? Go for it, just make sure the chef doesn't catch you sprinkling rat poison into the roll. If you succeed in that, make sure the restroom the target runs to throw-up in is empty, otherwise those bystanders will alert guards that you're drowning the VIP in a toilet filled with his own vomit.

World of Assassination is an experience. This experience is enhanced as you complete contracts by eliminating targets in unique "challenges" the game presents to you. Completing challenges in a level provide "Mastery Rewards" which offer you different starting locations for the level, new equipment, and even new disguises; some of which may be taken to other level locations. You're free to experiment with these gadgets, tools, and weapons to your hearts desire.

Each location has a series of 'remixed' levels called "escalations" that switch up the targets you've been assigned to eliminate, and may even add restrictions for how to assassinate them as a challenge. Once you've tackled the tremendous amount of content in this game, you'll still be treated to community contracts, which are like escalations, but prepared by community members such as yourself (your mileage may vary here).

Overall, this is a World of Assassination is unlike any other game out there, even within its own genre. After particularly long periods of playing through World of Assassination, I find that sometimes the game bleeds into my everyday life. I once vacationed on a nice private island off the coast of Colombia, and the small island had restricted VIP bars, beaches, and lounges. As the promoter showed us the VIP areas in an effort to up sell us, I couldn't get out of my head how this small beach was set up like a Hitman level location. I starting making a mental map of where all the security cameras were located, how many guards were on duty, and where any accidental hazards may occur. In a way, too much Hitman changed the way I view the world around me.

I recommend this game. There is nothing quite like it and IOI continues to have the occasional content drop from time to time as an addition to an enormous 3 game collection packed into one, aptly named "Hitman World of Assassination."
