This is an inexplicably addicting game. I literally cannot explain why it's so good. It just is. Absolutely cannot be beaten for the price.

I have more than 400 hours in House Flipper and I own all of the DLC expansions.

I don't know what happened but this one is buggy as heck. I only played jobs on the new map until I had unlocked the new tools because the new jobs were incredibly buggy. Fences are not at all intuitive. In "Don't Spare the Horses," the only way you can tell if you've already built the fence in the marked location is by walking back and forth through the fence marker to see if your movement is stopped by a placed fence. (The placement marker looks exactly the same as the default fence.)

In another map, placing the requested window in the marked location does not get credited in the task list, forcing you to finish the job with an incomplete.

Additionally, the ceiling you fully painted on that new property you bought in yesterday's session, will have missed spots when you log back in on your next play session.

This lack of quality is very unlike Frozen and to say I'm frustrated and disappointed would be an understatement.

I'm guessing the myriad of glitches/bugs will be repaired in future patches so I would still recommend the pack because there are gorgeous new items in nearly every category. (You will have hunt for them though, as most of them are not coded to show up with the "newest" filter. Yet another bug.)

Genuinely enjoyed this game. A unique approach to resource management that was challenging but not impossible.

I've heard a rumor that people are saying this game is "too short." I don't see how anyone can say that. It took me just over 13 hours to complete the initial phase of the game. Beating the initial phase then unlocks four alternate maps. Even if we subtract 4 hours because I'm not the best gamer, that's still 9 hours PLUS additional maps that I haven't yet played.

There are multiple levels of difficulty, including a "zen" mode if you just want a sandbox version.

The one drawback I had was a bug in the city map that prevented the level from progressing. Once I exited the game and reloaded, the bug cleared and I completed the level without issue.

I highly recommend this fresh take on resource management and "city" builders.

If you're buying this for the pets, you can skip it. The interaction with pets in minimal and awkwardly executed. That said there are a decent number of new items that make the pack worth it (if you're only buying it for items).

This is a terrific addition to House Flipper. It allows you to mow the lawn, cut down trees, and plant lovely gardens. The effort put into the garden adds value to the home when resold. The one draw back is that these houses cannot be replayed. Do everything you plan on doing because, unlike the other expansions, you won't get another shot.

This is a great relaxing game to play at your own speed. It is perhaps a bit tedious and slow in the beginning when progressing through the gate-keeping levels. It redeems itself with skill upgrades which reduce grinding and increase the pace making the fun stuff more accessible. My one beef with House Flipper is the lack of attention to sound design. It does not matter where you walk, it all sounds like hard-heeled shoes on hardwood floors. This has not been improved through any of the expansions.

I am in love with this game. At it's core this is a resource management game with RPG overtones. It is a wonderfully fresh take with sassy, grumpy, witty characters. The tutorial is terrific and rarely have I questioned what I'm supposed to be doing. The release had the expected bugs but they were handled swiftly. The support team is wonderful and friendly. I'm more 35 hours in and still there is much to do. All of this for under $20??? Order it now. What are you waiting for?!
