Penrolz's Note: So I played this game on a Windows 10 machine thanks to a non-existing anti-cheat (a proprietary anti-cheat that gives thumbs up to players cheating in-game) that refused to let me play on my Debian machine through Proton, which was working on other titles, even Call of Duty: Black Ops 3. This game is just garbage, as it's not letting you play through Proton with an anti-cheat lie. Even in Windows 10, it's crashed twice; it doesn't even properly work for its native OS!

Penrolz's Note: After playing on both vanilla and modded servers in the game for 682 hours, I finally started to think that it is a complete waste of time playing it without the help of a clan or at least a teammate because it is super hard. Whether you're playing on community servers with player limits, it still requires a pre-play for at least 500 hours just to actually start learning and playing it. I don't recommend playing unless you are a chad, and if you decide to look around for random teammates, good luck, as if you are planning to be playing on Rustafied servers (one of the official Rust servers), you'll get banned for playing with possible cheating players, even if you didn't know that they were cheating. I think Rust was a better game before the recoil pattern updates, as it was feeling like an actual competitive game back in the day. Also, it would be nice if it supported GNU/Linux too, as it's anti-cheat (Easy Anti-Cheat) already supports it, yet Rust hasn't implemented yet.

After playing for 8 hours, I regretted it and stopped playing because, first of all, when you start, it feels like average campaign gameplay; you do objectives and so on. However, after several chapters, the game feels like repeating itself, and besides the source engine's default entity system coming with the Hammer Editor, I see nothing more than architectural modeling in its maps. The game also broke my save file while nearly finishing Chapter: Surface Tension, and I lost all the progress there because my save was corrupted too and I couldn't load it, so I kept playing from chapter selection, which is the feature. Luckily, they added it and I played more, but I still saw the repetition, so I quit it. I was actually expecting more stable and clean progress since the game calls itself Half-Life Relive; however, Half-Life 1 is still a better choice if you have an old PC that can run it.

Penrolz's Note: After playing and modding the game for 1712 hours, I decided to write an extensive review. While Garry's Mod is an entertaining game on its own, playing with friends makes it even more fun. The tools offered are suitable for modding work; these include the Hammer editor (which maps), Glua (which requires programming knowledge in Lua), Source engine (which transfers models), and Materials/Textures (VTFEdit). However, the tools powered by Source Engine, particularly the Hammer editor and model transfer, are a little glitchy (.QC problems)), which explains why Garry's Mod's modding functionality isn't as good as it could be. But if you resolve all of its problems and comprehend the source engine, you may mod things a lot more faster and without struggling. I am aware that there is still much to review about the game, but as it is a Sandbox with a large modding community, there is no end to the things that may be discussed. As such, I can only go over the most important aspects of Garry's Mod.

Penrolz's Note: Great Game for Bronies Some Levels Feels like Silent Hill but when you been Pony in this environment its Really Fun to play after finishing the D'LIRIUM you can also design your OC and play it again with your Own Pony Model. I liked D'LIRIUM even though I dont like 2D Games.
