Completed the game recently. It's practically flawless for the standard of quality we are used to now-a-days. One of the best tactical shooters around, regardless of its top down qualities. I hope it gets a sequel, I'm very interested to see what the developers do next.

One of the worst built games I've ever seen. Can't get through it without having bugs ruin my play through and constantly resetting my progress. Not worth it.

I love the game but it's still not better then its predecessor

Great game. Keeps getting updated with better and better content, the unstable branch just came out which has a bunch of new features + quality of life improvements. If you're looking for something like Game Dev Tycoon but expanded with other options, like that of a real software/hardware company, then this is the game for you.

Tip: Start with 2-3 founders, do a lot of contract work [outstanding quality], get a 3 star rating, and then watch the money flow in. After you get that money, start a server farm.

Update: I can't believe it's still getting free updates. The developer is not money hungry at all, how am I supposed to throw my cash at him? You MUST buy this game if you're into the concept, genuinely. You'd be doing yourself a disservice if you didn't try it out.

Update 2: .... Another free update.... What else am I suppose to say? ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ buy it. Or I'm going to hunt you.

look at playtime

You probably know why. Rimworld is famous for its amazing content and awesome Dwarf Fortress-esque game. The best way to play it is to go in with the expectation that you are crafting a story that you find fun, and enjoyable. That is probably the best way to experience it, in my opinion
