This software frankly is very good and promises to get even better with time. The developers are working to regularly release updates to both functionality and set dressings and character models. If you are an enthusiast for TTRPGs and want to make 3D maps for your campaigns this is the software for you. Not only can you make the map but you can populate it with miniatures the game provides or design your own on Hero Forge and integrate them into your settings. It also has a dice roller, rulers for lines and area effects, group movement where you can grab a bunch of minis and move them together. If you have friends who have the game as well, you can invite them into your campaign and give them control of their own minis which makes it great for LAN or remote settings. I use it in my campaigns and even though its in early access it is super stable.

TLDR: If you like to play table top and want to have a great way to build maps and play with your friends, GET THIS GAME.

Control does its best to make you feel pressured and slightly overwhelmed by the tenacity of its aggressors(no spoilers). It has very competent 3rd person shooting controls and aiming with mouse and keyboard. The assignment of the keys is intuitive but also available for customization if you wanted to. The story and characterization is spot on for the setting the developers created. All parts are voiced and executed with style and exceed expectations for a game of this scope. Visuals greatly enhance the experience and work well and in sync with the audio performance. Signposting exists but is subtle and in keeping with the world-building. Lots to find and collect here too if that's your bag. The game lets you dive as deep as you want to go.

MHW is an action RPG done very well. Whether you are wanting to play solo or with friends, its a good time.
