Early Access Review
Hanako – Soul of the Samurai takes players online for an immersive experience in Feudal Japan. Help decide the future of a nation by playing as one of four distinct classes. Serve a clan to defeat your opponents throughout a multi-map campaign. Master your class’ directionally-driven combat, abilities, and spirit-based skills to get an extra edge. Enjoy a game that is easy to learn, difficult to master but seeks to capture the Soul of the Samurai. Hanako is based on our own fictional rendition of the Sengoku Period (16th century Japan). The legend goes much deeper than it appears; more will come over time and the rest will be up to you to paint. The original name, Hanako means “flower child” in Japanese, and is also the Japanese equivalent of Jane. This was an extremely lucky coincidence since Janie’s love of nature and life played straight into the art direction and symbolism honoring her memory.

Ridge Racer: Unbounded was created by Bugbear Entertainment and published by Namco Bandai. Created for Windows, Playstation 3 and Xbox 360. Released on July 31, 2012 (US). This is the first Ridge Racer game with destructible cars and destroyable scenery which is similar to Burnout and Split/Second. It is also the last installment for the home consoles in the Ridge Racer series. You can blast your way through all sorts of buildings, highlighted by on-screen icons when you're powered up, but the carnage lacks the punch of Split/Second's collapsing airports or MotorStorm's apocalypse, and the shortcuts you create seldom give you much of an advantage anyway. The takedowns, meanwhile, require little skill and hardly feel explosive; they're more like mild prangs elevated to slow-motion extravaganzas so as to inject spectacle into otherwise-flaccid racing.

Garfield Kart is a kart racing game similar to the Mario Kart series. The player can compete on various tracks, collect items, and power-ups which interfere with the other racers. Players can also customize their vehicles and play online, though the online feature is only available on Windows. The player can choose 8 characters, but only Garfield and Jon are available at first, with the others having to be unlocked. There are daily challenges the player can complete, which will give them options to customize their vehicle. There are three cups to choose from: Lasagna, Pizza, and Hamburger. There is also the hidden Ice Cream Cup, which is unlocked by completing all the other cups on 150cc difficulty. Each cup contains 4 maps, for 16 in total. There are also three difficulties to choose from: 50cc, 100cc, and 150cc. The Lasagna Cup is always free, and the Pizza Cup is free for 50cc, but for the 100cc and 150cc the player has to unlock the cups, or can pay to try them using in-game coins.

Take Thy Throne is a 2D side-scrolling MOBA where players can choose between characters with different strengths to defend towers and claim enemy thrones. Gather resources and collect gold to purchase better gear and defenses each match. Wield a sword, bow, or axe and defend your king while slaying the enemy in Take Thy Throne. Players choose from over four unique character classes in this 2D side-scrolling MOBA, such as the Helper, the Archer, the Mage, or the Honor Guard. Each class has their own strengths: Helper is the only class equipped to mine ore or chop trees. Gather resources and collect gold to construct Buildables, such as turrets and barricades, and upgrade combat gear each match. Dive into different game modes, such as Take Thy Throne (slay enemy king + tower defense), Team Deathmatch, or Dragon Slayer with up to six people.

Note: Sad to say no online players.

Teslagrad is a 2.5D puzzle-platformer with action elements, where magnetism and other electromagnetic powers are the key to go throughout the game, and thereby discover the secrets kept in the long abandoned Tesla Tower. In the Kingdom of Elektropia, a king rules with an iron fist, combating and destroying a sect of technological wizards who have a massive tower in the middle of the city named Teslagrad. The Bottom of the Well is a Visual Novel. Within the Framing Story of explaining a dream she had, the protagonist has to survive a nuclear attack and its immediate aftermath. The game is short, and is designed to be replayed — the game reacts to doing so, and you can't get the "true" ending without it. The game was released in 2016 by Red Nettle Studio.
