It's good but pretty much all the characters are boring in comparison to P3 and P4. The life sim part of the game in general is lackluster compared to P3 and P4. Only thing that's better is the battle system.

I'd give it a sideways thumb. It's very unpolished and nothing about progression is explained past a little banner at the top of the screen which is extremely easy to miss. The gameplay itself is fun with the exception that managing ammo in a bullet hell feels horrible and a 5 second cooldown dash is not fun to play with.
