I quite enjoyed my experience with TSL it has fun and quirky characters and the animations on the models is really adorable. It has many tropes and cliches of the genre of Japanese visual novels but the light hearted nature make it easy to enjoy unlike other representatives of the genre like which are much more grim or adult oriented. I can reccommend this for newcomers to the genre as long as you are not susceptible to "Cringe" or "Weeabo" types of things, if you abhor those stay far far away..If you are an anime fan and would like to live a story of being a japanese transfer student at least in visual novel format Tokyo School Life will not disappoint.
