Locked my keyboard while playing, had to unlpug and replug it multiple times to regain control

One of the most interesting takes on the idle game genre I've ever seen. It rewards exploration and doesn't keep you on a linear path. Great thing to have in the background while you're working on other things, occasionally check on it, see if you've made progress, update your loop a bit, and go on with what you were doing. It'd be nice if you could break up your loops into sections that can be edited individually to make it a bit easier to find where in your list the action you're looking for is. All in all 9/10

Much like others have stated, I find this game far more satisfying to play than metro. There's something about watching your city grow and mesh together that makes it feel fantastic. The only downside is the lack of zen mode, I really would like to see just how efficient you can make your roadways without the time constraint of the vehicles' journey. 8/10

I really wish I could recommend this game, the combat is decently fun, the new form of eagle vision being a literal eagle actually works super well and feels great. Sadly after about 3 days of trying to get it to run without crashing, I'm throwing in the towel. First, I thought, maybe it's my bad. It was causing my gpu to spike and crash. Checked all compatibility, I'm within recommended spec. Play around with every setting in the game. Stops crashing when I lower FOV. Play for another 15 hours and now it's crashing again every time I move my camera. Play with every setting on my computer that could be effecting it, now it looks like world of warcraft and still crashes every time i look left. Maybe there is a way to fix it but if there is i'm not putting any more effort to try it. Genuinely would be a great game if it worked.

Edit: After contacting ubisoft support, they were no help, as always.

This game made me ♥♥♥♥♥♥ cry, like a good cry, this is one of 2 pieces of media to do that. The characters are all fantastically well written and seeing them come to terms with their lives, which aren't all just one flat emotion, makes you think introspectively about your own. Was not expecting that at all since I mainly came for the base building mechanics. Which are well done as well. The art looks fantastic too, the whole game has this warm and inviting feeling of discovery. 10/10, certainly worth your time and money

Now that things are far more fleshed out I wanted to come back and edit this. At this point I'd say the game is pretty much exactly what I had hoped for out of this. There have been some occasional crashes but my computer is kinda cooked so take that with a grain of salt. Outside of that I'm noticing that some things are difficult to place correctly, like the wooden paneling for the outer edge of roofs. There are just some pieces that can be placed and others that can't in similar layouts with no visible reason why they won't allow it. Outside of that though, it's solid. If the premise seems fun you'll for sure get your money's worth out of it. The mechanics are simple enough to understand easily and iterate on pretty immediately. Now that there are more properties and tenants it leaves you with something open ended and enjoyable. solid 8/10

Old review: First things first WOULD RECOMMEND WAITING FOR FULL RELEASE ON THIS ONE. I've been following it since the day after the game was announced and available to add to wishlist. I really enjoyed jalopy and this seems like a good extension to that, however at the present time there isn't alot of content. Once you complete your first house there isnt much to do other than repay your debt which quickly just throws you into the daily loop of "wake up, shower, ask for rent, sit on toilet for 3 hours, go wash dishes, return home, repeat". While a great reminder of the monotony of life, i don't think that's really the artistic direction this is headed... at least not in this way. All in all a good start to a game but there's still a lot to go.

The combat in this game is incredibly fluid and with how inexpensive new starting arcana and artifacts are it's easy to change up your play style and have every run feel different, you really get a sense of tuning your loadout without having to constantly be comparing numbers on a spreadsheet. It's one of those games that has an addictive pull to it. I was planning to go to bed at 1 am, it's now 3 and i'm still trying to decide between which one of my loadouts are most effective. The tutorial level and introduction to the characters that are your home decor are all super charming. While a few enemy types are infuriating for me i get the impression i just need to figure out the best counter to them. All in all pretty damn good game, would certainly suggest picking it up if you enjoy rogue-likes, especially if you can get it on sale.

Fantastic bit of fun, already completed it 3 or 4 times tho so i'd like it to be longer or have some workshop support.

I purchased this game last night and i already have 14 hours. Help.

Edit: This game will take over your life for a few days, there's always something for you to do. A bit of building here, streamlining there, and all of a sudden it's 4am. 10/10 would miss my son's funeral again

Serious edit: This is a fantastic game with tons of charm, while the vehicles really need to get their pathing fixed, everything else added to the game functions incredibly well

The Biggest surprise to me in this game was the campaign, I completed it in one sitting but it was incredibly fun and had some awesome ideas. I wish titan combat was a bit more of a part of it and the story was nothing special, but it is incredibly solid. The multiplayer is a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ of fun as well, both the wave defense and the actual PVP. This game deserved so much more love than it got. I just wish i played this more on launch
