As of writing this review, I have already sank nearly 50 hours into the game and it still has its hooks in me. It was worth the wait; and I love it! Definitely a must have for a PC gamer.

When you first get started, you bumble your way as a killer. Soon, you become ever more resourceful, guilting friends and turning them against each other.

It's the most fun I've had in a while.

You basically NEED somebody else to play this with you when you play, but it's amazingly fun when you do.

Rip and tear.

Super addicting, especially with a group of friends. A must buy!

Poverty Simulator 2000. It's a wonderful game that matches how it feels to struggle upwards economically, only to have reality trample you back down.

I would recommend this game to anybody who wants to know if games are truly art, because it makes the case pretty damn well.

Even in its unfinished form, this game is gold. Favorite moment so far? Fist fighting 3 other people on a rooftop immediately after a drop.

This game stays very true to its source material while also parodying it: I loved the entering in a password intro to start the game, as well as the silly but reverent references to NES era beat-em-ups. This game has been something I've been looking forward to for a long time, and it delivered exactly what I was hoping for. Slap-happy brawls and goofy fighting abounds. There are a few issues I've noticed: there is some odd slow-down in parts with heavy animation, which strikes me as odd as this isn't a particularly taxing game. Additionally, on the onset, fighting is basic and sometimes frustrating, as your character will stand and just take a beating if you get locked into it. However, these problems alleviate themselves pretty quickly, and on the whole I would recommend this game to anybody looking for a modern beat-em-up with an NES feel.
