Great story, fun characters, lots of freedom

Good diverse deck builder with some extra layers to it.

Fun simple game

Epic game if you like sandbox style games with a great little story built in to keep you interested in moving forward and exploring further.
I'm curious how many little hidden extras I missed especially since I know there is at least one item I have never found a use for even after the 50+ hours I've put into the game.

I preface this by saying FFX, FFVII and FFIX are my favorites in the series by far. This is to give a perspective of how I have felt on the series as comparrison. I didn't enjoy 12 too much but it was good enough to get through, 13 was better than 12 but a long way off of the games prior to 10 in my opinion.

That said, I really WANT a good FF game again, and I spent 10 hours on this one and still don't feel even slightly invested in the game. There are too many early distractions and the mainstory has no pull to it. I have no desire to actually pursue the goals of the game and I think it falls very short of a Final Fantasy title.

If you want a game that just lets you roam with story as secondary then this might be the game for you, but if you are looking for a game that is built mainly around its epic story I haven't found that to this point, and I don't see myself picking this game back up anytime soon.

Runs terribly on PC, unplayable for me.

Best story based game I have ever played. Definitely worth a play if you have even the slightest interest in the genre.
