I played BFBB for Gamecube back in the day. I really liked it but didn't spend too much time with it because it has a finite end. All I truly remember is being frustrated by some of the bosses. So when Rehydrated finally came out, I was excited to see if I was just a dumb kid who didn't have patience or pattern recognition and I guess that's what happened. This game took me less than 11 hours to fully 100% (And about 1.5 hours of that was grinding for Shiny Objects to give to Krabs and access the movie theater (which isn't needed for all 100% completion anyway(???))) and I can say I had a really good time. Spongebob and Sandy in particular control really nice, with Sandy even having a fun, abuse-able glitch to achieve ridiculous heights, and Spongebob's extra moves (Bubble Bowl, Cruise Bubble) handling really well. Pretty much all the levels have a neat design and reference earlier episodes' iconic locations (rewatch Season 1 and you'll see just how much of that is covered in this game). Combat feels good for each character, which often feels like an afterthought in most 3D platformers, and feels especially good in more challenging areas (Mr. Krabs's Dream is a great example).
It's just a solid game. It's not the most impressive thing you'll play all year but it's a great, honest remake of one of the most highly regarded licensed games ever. Whether or not it's simply a cash grab, you can tell a lot of love went into fully realizing the original experience in the new engine. I guess the negatives are that it's pretty short (but still comparable to other platformers in length and scope), the VA for Mermaid Man and Mr. Krabs being different is really grating (but I get why this is a problem in the first place) and having to grind for Shiny Objects kinda stinks. Plus, I haven't tried the multiplayer yet, so that might be real fun too!
Also, the ball rolling challenge is pretty easy this time around. I can't understand why it is such a conversation point lol

The game of 2019, Sekiro is ridiculously hard, and extremely satisfying. Early difficulty spikes might drive you away, but giving up so easily negates you from exploring one of the most beautiful worlds games have to offer, as well as experiencing the inspired narrative. Each boss is more memorable than most games' final boss, and mastering the game's mechanics provides a sense of accomplishment that needs to be tried on a firsthand basis
Play this game, yo!

A hell of a lot of fun with 4 (or 8 with a mod) players. Random enough to keep your scrub friends in the fight, but consistent enough to encourage learning the game's surprisingly deep mechanics

As a person who bought Puyo Puyo Tetris before buying this, I gotta let you know that you have no reason to purchase Tetris Ultimate. The multiplayer scene is 100% dead, due to the aforementioned PPT, the controls manage to feel awkward and unresponsive, the game crashes like crazy, and it doesn't even have button prompts for controllers, and you can't re-map controller controls either. That last part is especially funny, because the buttons for rotation are actually opposite of their usual configuration

If you want to try and get any of the achievements in this game, you're SOL. Getting 100,000 line clears in online matches is legitimately impossible at this point, as I can't find a single game, even after a half hour of waiting.

No reason to purchase this mess. Go buy Puyo Puyo Tetris instead.

I should note; the 3DS version of this game is completely different, and actually kinda good. That might be worth your time!

This game is great! Seriously the best iteration of Tetris you can play on the PC (officially), it also has a wholly different puzzle game in Puyo Puyo, which is also great, and good to see on the PC! Controls are responsive and smooth, only ever being interrupted by the game's less-than-perfect netcode (it sucks when I'm hard-dropping a piece that didn't rotate because of lag!). The content here is also insanely good for the price, with a full story mode, arcade modes for both games, a fully featured series of tutorials (that actually give you insight on higher tier tactics), and plenty of unlockable backgrounds, characters, voices, and skins for your Tetris blocks or Puyos.
If you care about fun puzzle games, then you're only hurting yourself by not playing this. Also, PC is the only version to have the Japanese dub, which is miles better than the English one.

In a world where Ubisoft makes a competitive shooter and they do it right is the world of Rainbow Six Siege.

The graphics are jarring and abrasive to the experience, the controls can feel loose and unresponsive, and getting killed from a perfect angle is some ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ if I've ever seen it
But ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ is one solid game, with easily some of the best room for team interaction and crazy game winning plays in the entire genre. Solid character design and base elements are the real draw here, as mapping enemies out on camera and planning attack from there can lead to a satisfying win.

My best advice? Play with a mic, and use your cameras and drones often.

This game is great. Aside from the obvious rocket car and explosive gameplay here is what you need to know
-No DLC
-No P2W elements
-Self published with no Kickstarter
-No Early Access
Just a fun game to play with some friends teamed up

the main menu killed me XD 11/10 - IGN

For real tho

This game delivers on the behalf of being a sequel to an amazing game. Better ways to connect with friends make it a lot less of a chore than the previous installments made it, the new stats offered are all actually usable instead of people skimming over in order to avoid wasting allocation points and the variety of weapons and weapon types make making new builds a task to come back for.

Soul Memory (restricting online play to those who have accumulated a similar amount of souls to you) is a dumb idea though, but people who are truly invested in PVP will get over after they hit NG+ where it is only level based, so its not a big issue. Only last odd complaint is the overusage of bonfires and the ability to travel between. As a scrub of DS1, getting the link from The Depths to Firelink was absolutely mindblowing, and a huge weight just kind of lifts off your shoulders in those situations, in this game, intertwining pathways didn't make too much sense if players could travel everywhere so it makes sense not to do that, but in all it just misses one of my favorite parts of the first game

Last complaints are with the bosses and world consistency. Most of the bosses are too easy, which was the thing I was least hoping for. However there are a fair amount of bosses that can really test you while still remaining fair, and it feels great to overcome, but on the other end of the spectrum there are some bosses that while walking through their room after, its hard to remember there was a boss in the first place, they're that easy. And the world consistency, watch any MapViewer video and you will know exactly what I mean.

Don't you think for a second though that any of this should drive you away; for people who haven't played the previous title, this is an entirely new experience for you, and this is not a bad "first Souls game", for returning players, you already have it, don't lie.

So yeah, Imma play some NG+ on my main, do some fun PVP builds, try a no death/bonfire run a lot of times, and co-op with people who need it, because these games just allow me to revisit in a lot of different ways, hence why you should give em a try.

8.5/10

PS if you just fire up the game I recommend you join the Way of Blue Covenant on the top of the Majula stairs until you feel comfortable giving yourself a challenge. It also gives the Blue Sentinels something to do if you ever get invaded.

Man this is a good game but Barabarians can easily make your game a living hell. Also, other Civs will get real mad for settling like five tiles away. What the heck is up with that.
