I would rather spend my money to buy better games than buying even one DLC of this game. The base game alone is not good enough.

This is good, fun, and easy to learn, even for kids. My younger siblings love it.

Pros:
- The local co-op feature is what made me bought the game and I'm not disappointed.
- Its simple gameplay mechanics is what I like about this game.
- The graphics are beautiful and the animations are smooth.
- Can be respawned at a checkpoint and can be revived by other players.
- Combats are simple and easy, just spam the attack button, or hold the attack button for a charged attack.
- Many skins can be easily unlocked, but they have no effects on gameplay, only for visual and animation.
- Most of the environments can be destroyed.
- Full controller support.

Cons:
- The isometric view made it hard to control player character's (PC) movement, especially when we tried to climb a hill or when navigating narrow path. I wish we can rotate the view.
- Sometimes it will teleport back your PC to other characters way too fast or too early, which the PC was not even at the screen border and definitely not outside screen.
- Sometimes the spawning or teleporting back made your PC stuck in a spot. Either tell other PCs to move far from it until your PC teleported to a correct spot, or just restart the floor level.
- It can be optimized better. Sometimes FPS dropped without a reason, such as when we were just idling or no enemy in sight.
- The price is a little bit too high. Better to buy it when on sale.

This is definitely one of the best racing game.
Best played with friends or siblings.

It was too difficult for me and has slow pace especially the character movement.
Now, how can I get the remaining achievements without grinding it for another hours?

It is very challenging indeed, but the characters are not balanced. Only the Breacher is good enough. Other than that, good luck!

I actually don't fully understand about this game, but still playing it for the achievements

This is what I'm looking for. It has nostalgic vibes. It reminds me of my childhood days of playing SNES and other game consoles.
The gameplay is simple just like the usual arcade racing games you remember.
The graphics are also simple and clean, it doesn't have pixel graphics but give the feeling of old school pixel graphics. The physics are good enough but questionable.

The best thing about this game is its multiplayer mode which can be played in split-screen mode and with gamepads. I can just plug my gamepads and then play it with my siblings without setup problems. It was easy.

I'm having fun playing this game right from first hour of play with my siblings.
The arena are challenging, if you want to get the perfect score or the achievements.
I still have many cars to unlock, but that means I still have many hours to play without getting bored.
It has game modes such as campaign, tournament, and endurance (still locked for me).
The campaign mode are great. It is a world tour. Every arena need to played sequentially with enough score to progress or to unlock next arena and bonus arena for bonus upgrade.
In the tournament mode we can compete each other (and the AIs) for podium point which then accumulated in the end of the tournament. It has 3 tournament difficulty which each of them is based on arena difficulty.

In short, this game is highly recommended if you can play with friends or anyone you can get. If you just want to play alone, then it is good enough and still recommended, but playing multiplayer is the best way.

It has simple gameplay mechanics but very interesting and balanced enough. It didn't take much time to learn and easy to play. It has 4 difficulties level which can give enough challenges.
The graphics is clean and simple, with isometric view and voxel graphics.

The downside of the mechanics in my opinion are:
- I often accidentally wasting unit action such as moving the unit or attacking by clicking an available (marked) action tile. To prevent this I have to click the unit again or click another tile which doesn't have an action mark. I suggest the mouse right click can be used to cancel an unit action. I hope future update include this.
- When I had too many units I often forget and confused which of these units have an attack action still available to them. I wish every units have an indicator if it still has an attack action.
- The linux port still very buggy. I'm playing on Ubuntu 20.04. It is often I can't play because it often stuck in any screen after startup (maybe about after 5-10 seconds). This was caused by the game itself always checking for news update (indicated by the icon on the top-right of main menu screen). If the checking failed (either by network error or the the request itself), then the game will crash or stuck forever. The music will still play for a while, but then stop. I can't click anything. Can't even close the game without force closing. If the checking success, then the news icon will update its number indicator (colored red) and then I can continue playing.
- Another bug in linux port is any os/system action such as alt-tabbing or turning up/down system volumes, or even increasing screen brightness any will cause the game stuck or crashed like above.
- The performance itself in linux was a little disappointing compared to Windows 10. In W10, playing for hours will not causing performance degradation, but that was not the case for linux.

Anyway, I still very much recommend this game. I often find myself to play it again for another hour.

My players get too many injuries easily despite I already reduced the training workload and tactics. I don't know if this is caused by bad (bug) match engine or I'm getting worse managing my players. LOL!

I don't care about the 3D engine because I like 2D view more as usual. But, the 2D view is getting worse, both the performance and the visual. I love the old 2D visuals which was more simple and clean.

There are already too many cons mentioned by other players, so I don't need to mention them here.

I still think FM2017 is better than FM2019, but I still recommend this.

Coming back to this game after years, I'm shocked that all my progress are lost.
I should have backed up all my saves before playing this game again, but it was too late for that.
Now, I have to start it all over again.

Despite these problems, this game is definitely getting better. It is also still getting updated so I'm happy to mark this as recommended, for now.

Update:
It was easy enough to level up a character until level 100 and finished the game (all difficulty), but it was too much grinding effort to level up all the characters to level 100 each. I can even reach to level 100 without having to reach inferno difficulty and without having late-tier gear for one of the character, but I couldn't do the same for other character.

Fortunately, there are many guides on what build are suitable for you, so they were a great help when I tried to optimize my build.

So, it was really fun and satisfying for a while, but not afterwards, especially if you want to complete the achievements.
