I played BG1 & 2, the originals, to death, and I loved them. I was really involved in the community and helped to develop a few of the mods for the original. That/those game/s hold a place in my heart :) I'm pretty much done with any new games, save Pillars of Eternity which I will probably devote the next 6 months of my life too - lol. Good gaming!

BG2, I would agree except that it nullify's quite a bit of the communities' works. I have the dvd and patch and patch and play whatever mods I want atm. as they become "ee compatible" well, we'll see.

re: BG2:EE, I think so I've always loved it and its nice to have it in my Steam Library instead of having to find the original discs and get it working again. Trouble is there's too mayn distractions for me to sit down and really get into the game again. If I'd never played it a hundred times before, I'd probably be playing it right now.

Oh, and no (re: Civ4) because that would have been +20 more than the +60 I payed for the base game. But I was gifted Civ5 so I won't bother but thanks for the reply!

So.. BG2:EE Was it worth the money you regave to atari/hasbro?

I really do like it! Are you playing with the expansions? I've never played it just vanilla. Have you tried some of the mods? http://forums.civfanatics.com/downloads.php?do=file&id=1 turns it into an epic fantasy game and the space one that comes with it is quite fun!

how do you like civ IV? I found it infuriating and am waiting for V to go on sale
