Okay, here's the good and the bad when it comes to this game:

PROS:

Music is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ awesome.
Most characters have personality.
Pixel art looks really good, save for some spots in the backgrounds.
Game controls fluidly.
Runs like a dream.
It's three ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ dollars.

CONS:

Game has some weird slow-mo going on whenever gunplay happens.
Healthbars are way too low, making every match short.
No netplay or mention of netplay.
Announcer is sort of bland.
You can get stunlocked by light attacks pretty easily.
No super bar or any equivalent.

Overall, I'd say give it a buy. It's three dollars, after all. I had some fun with it and decided to give the first review. Maybe some of the negatives will be fixed when the game goes full release.
