Damn, this ♥♥♥♥ feels older than Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords! In all seriousness, this game really needs to be remade.

Played this ♥♥♥♥ with OpenMW and some basic mods by the way; that's also why it only says I have .3 hours on record when I actually have 10 morbillion.

SEX!

Now that I have your attention, this game is pretty good. I enjoy the bullet hell sections, and although I'm not the biggest fan of rougelikes, I like how all the weapons feel powerful and there is a lot of room for "gaming the system", so to speak. Great graphics and music as well, this is criminally less popular than it should be. 10/10 corpsemaxxing experience

I personally preferred the first DLC, but this campaign is quite fine too. I didn't feel that the encounters in this one were as brutal and evilly long as in The Ancient Gods - Part One... but they certainly weren't easy, and still left me quite satisfied.

Once again though, there is a lot to like in this DLC, as with the first. The new enemies didn't excite me as much as the couple from Part One, but with every lackluster addition, a great one exists, in this case I'd say the Sentinel Hammer, which remixes the sword from the base game in a way that is both genius and fun! I've seen mixed reception on the final boss, but quite frankly, the majority of the bosses in this whole game, including the base game, didn't appeal to me too much as they didn't feel like a test of my shooter skills... save for maybe the Doom Hunter, but that's not really a "boss" I'd think. Juuust form your own opinions if you decide to play it for yourself.

TL;DR: This is a fine conclusion to both The Ancient Gods as well as Doom Eternal in general. A lot of what I said in my The Ancient Gods - Part One review apply to this DLC as well, so don't buy this DLC is you aren't looking for a devilish challenge. If you are though... then you're in for a ride!

Can't really speak on the price, as I think I just bought the game + DLC's all in one or at really good prices - it's been a while, so I don't fully remember. What I can speak to though is the game itself.

Three new levels, and each one is peak. They introduce new and unique mechanics, as well as remix ideas from the base game that I felt were lackluster, giving them quite fine second chances. If I had to finger what defines this campaign and the second one though, it would undoubtedly be its difficulty - THESE CAMPAIGNS DO NOT ♥♥♥♥ AROUND. For somebody like me, who has played several shooters, finished the base game on NIGHTMARE, and utilized just about all the tools at my disposal to complete encounters, I greatly enjoyed the brutal difficulty of these DLC's, but if long and challenging encounters that make the Slayer Gates from the base game look like warm-ups aren't your thing... well, that would be my guess for why the reviews on this are mixed, even though I'd say these expansions are both really great.

TL;DR: If you enjoy a challenge and putting your DOOM Eternal mastery to the test, then this DLC and the second one will leave you quite happy; otherwise, you might find these campaigns to be quite the journey through Hell.

Props to Id for trying something new with the franchise instead of just making DOOM (2016) two more times. Not only that, but DOOM Eternal is a great shooter, and one I would recommend if you are a fan of the genre. Of course, there are things I dislike, the deplorable MARAUDERS, OF COURSE IT'S THE ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ MARAUDERS definitely being a prime example of when this game is at its worst... Even with its flaws though, this game is a solid 9/10, and promises a good time for those that like to rip and tear! Good stuff Id - can't wait to play Dark Ages some time...

This game is old as hell, and because of the 3D environment I'd even say it feels more jank at times than the original Fallout. That being said, this is a pretty good CRPG, and the world of Star Wars is adapted very well both to a gameplay experience and to a tale that feels familiar yet unique from the media that came before (at least, with the movies). A quality game overall, and one I'd recommend if you're a fan of CRPG's and the like.

Let's be real though, the real reason you should get this game is because of that PAZAAK baby, hoooo boy (slaps knee) (hollers like a cowboy) lemme tell ya (sits you down despite your protests), I don't care if I waste aaaaall my credits on that ♥♥♥♥ (starts playing the banjo... poorly), if I see a card game in my RPG's I go ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ bananas, more bananas than when I'm ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ your mo-
