It baffles me that character DELETION is NOT a feature available in this game. They do not make the naming system clear, and I, like many others who have posted a complaint about this, misinterpreted how 'villagers' (other players) view our character profile and went with a naming scheme that was less than ideal.

Unfortunately, contacting support is the only way to get around this, and it looks like it'll be weeks before my account is reset/deleted so I can start over with a character I actually want to play.

This is less of a farming sim and more of a socializing simulator and I just don't need that in my life.

JUST LET ME USE THE ESC KEY TO CLOSE A MENU FOR THE LOVE OF GOD

Edit: Props though for devs responding, always a sign the game can be improved. Since I can't add onto their comment, I wanted to explain further that in most games, while there may be a designated action key for a menu (in their case, TAB to open and close the tablet), the ESC key is universally available to close all menus as well as it's what most gamers default to. In Pets Hotel, you can't use ESC, but RMB, which hurts my brain because it's not the norm.

Games should focus on QoL features and that includes mounting the right keys to actions.

I hope they include the ESC in the future, because that alone made me frustrated and barely made it past building 4 walls of my hotel.
