A short (4 hours) but quite great and cinematic adventure, with lots of Hard Sci Fi elements on the story.

I loved exploring the various Moon Base Sacilities, the Person Space Station, The Launch Station. These were all greatly done, giving a realistic and used feel to them, giving them life. This accompanied with the soothing soundtrack made me, for a few hours, a true space explorer in a realistic setting.

All space fans should give this game a try!

If you like XCOM, this is a great game that introduces the setting of Battletech, retaining some of the tactical desitions that the tabletop presents.

Great game to play with friends. What else is there to say?

At first I didn't know what to expect, but the way the story was being told drawed me in, and pulled me along turns and twists, where it felt like my decisions mattered to change the story in significant ways, but not in ways that would completly lose the plot.

This game is a choose your own adventure game, which is basically reading an interactive story, accompanied by a great soundtrack, and marvelous ink drawings to accompany each scene. These things set the tone wonderfully, giving the game lots of atmosphere, which is something this game excels at.

While not that long, as I completed the game in about four and a half hours, it contains a side story that I have yet not tackled, which seems to be a prequel of sorts, and offers lots of replayability in the way of previously mentioned choises that you can make, that alters the moment to moment significantly, but not that much the overall plot. This is aided by a stat system that helps you tackle challeges, or fail them, which isn't reflected as a total game over, but a set back and a change in the moment to moment action.

Overall, this game feels like a tabletop rpg, which is one of the most enjoyable aspects for me. The story, set around the first world war, contains a lot of mystery, conspiracy, cosmic horrors, along with many memorable characters, things which I really like and helped me enjoy this game even more.

If after all you're still undecided, you might want to wait for a sale, but if you're decided by any of these things and you know what you're getting into gameplay wise, you're sure to end up enjoying the game.

So far I've only played the campaign, as I'm not much of a multiplayer guy, but it has truly been a great experience. Reminds me of Warcraft 3 or Starcraft with how each faction has its own story that gets entangled with the other two as it moves along.

The setting is also great, a steampunk version of the world where mechs were used in ww1 instead of tanks, placing us in the aftermath of that war. There is political intrigue, there is a secret menace and conspirations, secret, more advanced technology sometimes appear.

The cutscenes are also very well done, and are high quality. I can't speak much about voice acting or european regional dialects, as I'm no expert, but I enjoy how the protagonists from each faction each speak in a certain accent, that is different from one another.

The mechs have very distinct aesthethic in each of the three factions, they are the star of the show. However, infrantry could use more difference, as they are all basically the same between them, except for an special, armored unit.

All in all, a very great RTS campaing, if you like those, or if you like the setting, you'll enjoy this game.

I'm told multiplayer balance is not that great yet, but I trust you'll read other reviews for that one.
