it easy to pick up, but hard to master. This game provide both fun in a team setting and a challenge with various mission types across a Rouge-like setting, where you pick you ship and its loadout and improve upon it as you go along the run. Plus it can be hilarious with friends with certain situations devolving into madness and discourse.

Part of the open beta team before game's release, sad to see this game go as it had tons of potential

For one I would like to emphasise that at the time of review the game has only been on global access for just over a week, the base game itself has been out for 6 weeks or about 144 hours (yes I did calculate for the sake for the time of activity for the game).

The game in all its glory is a hot mess, in terms of the current state it needs a lot of work for the time of writing I have logged 29.9 hours.

The biggest concern for the game in its current state is that is minor yet common graphical bugs in initial gameplay I noticed a graphical bug yet undetermined in commonality main protagonist exhibited a hairstyle of that of the character Crim plie's hairstyle for a couple of scenes of the diabolical witch 1 mission, rest of cinematic plays out as normal otherwise. The next graphical bug I noticed was that of the sword of Taliah 3 mission where Ethan Soulguards head was otherwise displaced for a couple of seconds the displaced head turns up at the feet of the character as the camera pans down. Otherwise, the cinematic plays out as normally as intended by the dev team. last graphical bug to take note of is that on occasion and probably most common of all graphical bugs is that players legs will bug out and act strange such as sink into the ground.

Otherwise, I would like to say other than a number of optimization hotfixes those bugs require ironing out and maybe some balancing for each of the Karmas for both the PVP and PVE modes and suggestions for what mode/s that the player/s would like to play for the PVP mode rather than just dumping them in one of the 3 current game mode that is in the current build of the game.

And as a formal last note, the capture the flag (CTF) mode needs some serious ironing out. One suggestion, if the Development team should ever see this is to take the mode down (temporarily! mind you) iron out as many bugs as that can and have a handful of active PVP players and run a couple of practice tests (and offer a few practical rewards for loyalty).

Would I recommend the game HELL yes but KOG needs to be aware that these are the current problems that require the proper attention before, proceeding with some large update that breaks the game entirely and requires a number of hotfixes to bring the modes up to basic functionality.

Crystalline in it's current stage is a beutifully designed game, as your flung into a realm of fantasy adventure novel. Though the chapter 5 is yet to be released after this review the plot line is fairly to very solid depending on your point of view, a little excentric but otherwise i cannot complain too much about there it gives the game some artistic flair to it. The character's development in this graphic novel is otherwise almost perfect though its its occasionally late on the timing due to more leaning towards dramatic timing over the charcter themselves but that might be just me, but when the you get around to the character you do feel like you are connecting with your favourite charecter whoever he/she that may be. Not to mention you can have a few chuckles at some situations with the games otherwise subtle but otherwise occasionally blunt sense of humour if you look close enough. Not too mention game might act in some ways like a dating sim, but if you look past it you do see the layer of intertracy, work and passion that the team at Pixel Fade put behind the game to give it a greater purpose than making this game

and finally just like any good game its got its fair share in bugs, luckly for any user that buys themselves a copy of the game or someone buys a friend a copy of the game. The only serious bugs only occur rarely amoung the spoken lines of the characters around the main charecter. Though I trust PixelFade is doing there best at ironing these bugs out the best they can which i won't fault them on, it can be a little off putting on the situation of when a charecter is suppose to speak but doesn't. But like i mentioned i won't fault them for the bugs or how effectively attempting to destroy them.

UPDATE:
Since Chapter 5's release I'd like to say the PixelFade had nailed the final chapter on the head. I was more enthralled to get to the next sequence of the chapter, I hinged on every line between the main Protagonist and companions that the Main Character travelled with. As well as the relations that you have with them 10/10 will play again.

This game is Beautifully constucted, with a rich story. The Character you see throughout Pyre has otherwise a rich background and tell there own little stories to accodate this game, the music went so well the game and fit the whole exiled theme of the game. The is also aesthetically pleasing game to look at and the game mechanics even it being occasionally touchy (though i think it was just me not playin the game right) its great. The descion making in the end was as great as the rest of its parts and if bieng honest made me misty eyed more than a couple of times. I recommend this game SuperGiants really did do an awsome job on Pyre.
