There's quite a bit that I appreciate with this game. Sure, if you aren't into electrical/technical, and creativity with electrical items, you may not enjoy this game as much as I have. I also have the DLC for this game (Smart Devices). It improves game play, in my opinion.

What I like about it:
* Easy to navigate and activate, though I sometimes get confused and hit the wrong button.
* Quite a few tasks to do
* A bit more variety than just laying wires for a house. You can also repair things.
* You can rewire your own place.
* You can put many inventory items on the floor or ceiling until you are ready to use/install them.
* The computer has sales for items.
* You can favorite a certain repair job type that you enjoy. (workbench repairs)
* You can choose which job you want to take
* You can create a style of how you work (great for us with a bit of OCD) ~run lines neat and orderly, for example.
* The sensors for seeing signals, currents, lines are easy to turn on and off.
* Has a flashlight that is easy to turn on and off
* Has warning for those with sensitivities when the game begins. (Seizures can be scary)
* Has Achievements
* Has Trading Cards
* I'm sure there's other things I can't think of at the moment.

What I'm not fond of:
* Limited inventory for stocking up on cables, switches, etc. Cables can not be sat down in garage (that I know of).
* It can become tedious at times
* Sometimes what you are supposed to do on a job is not exactly totally clear.
* There's a grid you can't seem to hide. I think it's the zone that is picked up with the motion sensor in the DLC I got for the game. (This one may be DLC related only)
* They are calling resistors capacitors. I saw another review about that and they are correct. It seems that everything in here is a capacitor. lol They need to fix that. (There's a youtube video that is good at teaching you the differences between resistors and capacitors).
* I'm sure there's other things I can't think of at the moment.


NOTE: I have forgotten to flip a breaker a few times. That shock you get. I almost feel like I can feel it, literally. Bzzzzt ! !

This is more of a clicking simulator. If you want more hands on, Electrician Simulator gives you a bit more. You can repair objects on a work bench with that one. This game sadly let me down. I expected a bit more hands on. Instead, it holds your hand on everything. There's no freedom. No creativity. Just click and click and click.

I can not recommend it for $13.00. It gets old kinda quick.

Rating as clicker: Great boredom killer.
Rating as a toy repair simulator 2/10.
I wish we could give a neither vote.

Note: I'd like to also add that the movement is kind of wonky. It's weird. Plus, it's over 8 GB of hard drive space. O.o Seems it'd be smaller for what it is.

A short, yet free little gem of a Point & Click Adventure.

So glad I gave it a shot.

It has a few achievements, too ^.^

As mentioned, this does not work. I have had no luck with any commands tried in launch options either. I've tried to find ways but I can't find a way to get this to work. Once you get into the game after all of the build up, it's a black screen. If you click top left, you can access the overlay but even that is horribly displayed. This game is heavily broken. I do not wish to go outside of steam atm so I guess I'm sol. I could ask for refund, or keep it and hope they find a way to fix it.

Update: I went looking for some launch options. I found a few but so far nothing is helping. Using a different directx version to other settings changes. I am not sure how many launch options there are for steam but the list wasn't a full list. I'm up to about 11 minutes in there. lol What's the return policy? I can't find it. Race against time? Or Time Spent in-game? Either way, it's not looking good :(

I even tried compatibility modes. I've learned a few things but nothing that would help with this game. I'm sorry but it's just not working. Not sure why it's even in the store TBH if it won't run . Is it running for some?

Voices and animations are not always great but the visuals are very nice on the eyes. TBH I play these mainly for the adventure and puzzles so the story didn't really stick with me, but parts of it did. It was an interesting story. A few grammar mistakes lol We know how that goes. :)


Now, on to my fave parts :D

Hidden objects take a bit of looking at times. Well created in my opinion. The mini-puzzles are great. You can switch difficulty for them as well.

This is one of my favorite hidden object games. I've enjoyed it immensely and very often you can port it over to iOS using Steam so you can still enjoy it around the house w/o having to sit at a desk :) I like these puzzles at bedtime, or to relax. They are calming and enjoyable.

The visuals are my fave. They did a phenomenal job in creating this game. There are no Steam Achievements but there are in-game achievements.

I hope to find more like this. It's truly one of my all time faves.

Mini-Golf made this worth it :D Let alone the other fun you can have in here, including Arcade, Trivia, Bowling, Casino, and other side games.

For me, it's mini-golf that made me want to support them. Plus, they update the game frequently :D

The dev (singular, which is very impressive so far) is updating this game (paid version) in big ways. :) This person seems to hear many voices. I am happy to say the numpad works for credit card reader. There's a storage door inside now. Huge update includes Hires/Stock Workers. So, you have both, Folks stocking shelves and cashiers (for a fee). It's good to be ready before unlocking. Meaning, having the shelves and products as you unlock the products packages. :)

The main game will possibly update again so I think it may be a good idea to recommend that you check out the paid version's discussions (Announcements is one of my fave to look into for some games). Mar 2024

I enjoyed this prologue. It was very relaxing, a bit tense during store hours if I was low on funds. Nicely staged. I love the visuals. There's not a lot to do in the way of variety, but what there is to do is easy to organize with time & gradually expand. Some state that ingredients on the shelf can disappear. It's been mentioned that if you pick up a shelf, then close it back up into a box, it will clear all shelves. So, I wouldn't do that if I were you. lol


Overview: Fun so far. I have 3 25 hours into the prologue. Sometimes is tedious, especially w/o full release and hiring.

Visuals are nice :D Though you may be tending to many characters/customers that look the same.

Don't forget to set the price and check the prices periodically. Watch for market price changes (more info in Update 2 section below).

It's only in English.
No achieves for prologue, but it is so addicting.

I do look forward to the full version. This one has a lot of potential. The ease of use is a pro :D The boxes can be thrown into the trash can outside. I'd rather recycle. That would be a nice add on. (my recycle pile is now very large)

Update:

I did find a bug? A box of valuables got stuck in my hands. I threw it away and was able to play again. I didn't really want to go troubleshooting. I wanted to play. lol

Update 2 (Feb 2024) 25 Hours In:

Some notes I took right after game play while the memory was fresh. Sorry it's scattered like it is, but it is when I recall things best.

More about this game:

10 is the maximum purchase. Counts each item you add that goes into your cart.

Sometimes the customers buy in bulk. It is great if you have enough. You can purchase during the day if you have enough money and if you can get it on the shelves in time.

In the prologue, we do not get the storage area so I use whatever area I can find out of the way. The customers can walk through boxes :D but we can't. The tall boxes, we'll push them as we walk. The short ones, we'll usually just walk over them. There's about 4 box sizes that I've noticed. No indicators of what you can put in an already emptied box. You'll need to remember the box sizes for each product, which isn't incredibly difficult.

You can re-close the boxes up. haha I like that. Especially if I mistakenly open the box of items. There really was a lot of though put into this, however basic.

I don't want burglars but I do want a few regulars that eventually I could say hi to or something. Make it feel a bit less lonely. Sure there's all kinds of things I could ask for but I'm afraid to. Each thing requested adds to the effect on the game's stability.

Then again, their plans for the game sound like it'll be workable? Hire someone (wonder how that would work out). So far, imho, this is a fun and relaxing (yet a bit exciting during business hours) game that lets you be OCD, or creative, or super structured.

There is management of prices. Customers are happy with 1 cent below market, but you need to keep an eye on it. It can change. It usually shows the change in the top right each morning at 8 AM. Store hours are up to 9 PM but customers come in a bit after that. Thankfully the clock stops at 9 PM :)

The things that I noticed that were not as the game is intended to run (bouncing shelves/coolers were not game breaking).

I enjoyed this one, though I had to play it 2.5 times to get the achieves. Read all notes, play on hard setting, find all items. Good thing is if you play it and then play it a 2nd time, it'll remember what you collected before so you don't have to play the game all the way through unless it's the last note lol so look for that last note before you complete the game if you want achieves.

Though I wasn't sure what I was choosing by clicking on one of the offered options, it was a fun little gem with the convenience of visiting each chapter to finish your achievements more easily. Once you can skip dialogue, it's a good time to re-visit and try alternate choices, or work on achievements.

The acting is not perfect, not even close sometimes. I think they put lip stick on everyone. lol
I was a bit creep(ed) out on seeing a child as a demon. The stories didn't relate very well, yet there were some interceptions.

I found myself wanting more. It was a unique and interesting experience. I got into the stories, which isn't usually easy for me. It's a bit dark. It was a lot like being in an interactive movie. I did not turn on timed, not a fan, but the convenience was nice.

I hope they add some chapters to this. I tried another of theirs, the detective one, but I still keep thinking of this one. This one was a bit captivating and left an impression on me, perhaps due to my taste in story/movie types? Whatever led me to really appreciate this one, I hope that I feel it again with the next one. It was an interesting journey :)

Not many men were in the game. Mostly women. Video quality was really good. I could see the characters quite well. It was well edited, imho.

This one was, for me, a survival & adventure game. I got my hands on it because of a sale and my appreciation of steam's way of organizing my games and sharing game experiences with friends.

I played this game and my husband got to witness me play, hear the game, see the chaos and cinematics. Once he had a copy, we sat side by side and had our own adventures (we had to use earbuds and headphones or the sounds would overlap).

It became a memorable experience for us both. I do recommend this game for females and males who like this type of game. The release date may not be all that fresh, but the game play is still amazing.
