love it, ideal mobile suit gundam grunt space game.
needs more content, some atleast minor customization or choices in XON's and more missions plus a 2-4 player co op option.

there is AI voice work in the game on launch currenty. but the dev is actively working on replacing the AI voice lines with actual stuff post launch.

i played this when it was post scriptum, and it was pretty mid. nothing it did at the time felt special.

playing it now thats its changed over to Squad 44, this honestly beats Hell let loose for me, feels just a little more mil simmy, much more actually like Squad. but somehow the dated technology available makes it feel easier to get into, like it has a lower barrier of entry or learning curve. it just seems more straight forward. and the large quantity of players stuck with bolt action rifles and slow firing weapons makes it easier to enjoy.

Overwhelming negative reviews based off mass misunderstanding of how peer to peer networking works.
There are no servers, half or more of the networking problems can be solved on players end, packet loss will get you booted from a match. .

The game itself feels and looks like a warthunder spoof made with gundams and mobilesuits. Team work is very rewarding when it works and grinding ranks with the boys is decent fun.
The penalty system is definitely a sore spot, as it's there for a reason and works for that, but also punishes players with any networking problems pretty harshly.

My suggestion for those getting booted or unable to find a game. Run ethernet or WiFi 6e or whatever you can to get the best connection and minimize packet loss. Queueing with even a single person in your group forces you to get past the first stage of queuing for matches.

it honestly took a little to grow on me. feels like its coming from a gundam build fighters series POV for the story. 3 hours in tho and im starting to enjoy the story more. the gameplay is actually pretty well fleshed out for the type of game it is. for a gundam game on PC i think its not bad. would definitly pay maybe like 30 or 40 usd for it though not the full price.

got this from humble bundle. played the campaign and thought it looked really good but the gameplay was weird.
Multiplayer and zombies feels like a different studio did it, the guns dont even do the same damage or have the same behavior. but multiplayer is a lot better, as much as people might hate to hear it this is easily the best iteration of zombies,
as long as you don't have some Weak *** stomach and cant handle ignoring microtransactions.

Mount and Blade Warband, But made by Female Slav's and tossing you into a strange Slavic War torn island nation. its so similar its great, AI is pretty basic and the maps are Very open, so you need to be good with long range firefights, i saw someone complaning about the guns being super innacurate... but i mean.. they're actually pretty good and easy to use. they also used a sks which... is not the greatest...

Combat manages to be entertaining enough but it gets pretty bland just like in Warband. and just like in warband there is a easy to use Cheat interface although in this case its a pre set menu of options instead of a bunch of Ctrl+(key) commands.

If the dev's Improve map layouts ( just put lots of ruined towns all around) and improve Bot movement and combat it'd make for a pretty neat game. it also looks like this game has a similar setup for Modding as Warband so theres obviously room for the community to add more when a skd becomes available.

this game came out and people said it was crap on ps4.
and it pretty much was, a lot of it has been mended a bit with patches but coming to PC its much different.
it plays quite a lot like Nier Automata from what i understand.
the main draw to this is that it's gundam, fans will spend hours collecting parts to recreate mobile suits from different anime's, and customize them to personal preference.
the combat is not that bad, a lot of it has to do with what inner frame you go with. you want to go with parts that increase the reaction score to get less of a delay between your controls and the mobile suit. it's a giant mech ( i mean 1/144 or 1/100 but yea) of course theres a bit of delay on a mech from a suedo realistic series like gundam, ( for context gundam has always used actual scientific theory's and information to base stuff off of, with some obvious exceptions.)

the controls arent that wonky on PC, if anything it feels like a dynasty warriors meets Nier Automata game. but without the uber easy Dynasty warriors combat.
just remember to disable that annoying auto targeting with "q"
