Winners don't do drugs.

Crashed twice in the first hour, but hasn't crashed since. Save often until you're out of Chapter 1. Beyond that, it's run fine on my 7600XT and R9 5900X, getting 60 fps on max settings with the occasional drop to 40 in dense areas.

edit: seems to crash if i have my browser open in the background, did so consistently in the same spot
edit2: crashes more often on higher graphic settings, if you want it to crash as unoften as possible, set everything as low as possible
edit3: Recent update massively improved performance for me, I've not had any crashes running around on max settings now.

final framerate: 16 fps on all low settings

other modern games run fine, it's just this game having issues.
will update if they ever fix it.

gameplay and music is good though

Overall a massive improvement over Yakuza 7.
It does everything a sequel should in terms of improving upon things without straying too far from it's core identity.

It's pretty fun so far

I definitely recommend this game.

It's really hard to shoot the enemies when I'm headbanging.

But I'll make it work, I'll be damned if I'm not gonna keep the music volume at maximum.

Probably the best combat any of RGG's games has to offer.
Combined with the endlessly entertaining ragdoll physics, and it's never unsatisfying to beat people up in this game.

Story's pretty engaging too, I guess, but I was having so much fun hitting people I could've ignored it entirely.
