Solid and polished game with something for everyone. Just be wary the balance of classes, weapons, and builds in general can change every few months, because developers feel the game should be intrinsically linked between PvP and PvE, so usually one thing ends up affecting the other.

Otherwise, really good game with an amazing cast of voice actors, and a great story to boot.

EDIT: Sunsetting has made much of the previous items obsolete ingame, and while you can always acquire new loot, the items received during the two first expansions (Forsaken and Shadowkeep) are currently unable to scale up to the current power level, and the campaigns are mostly played for the exotic items (which have no power cap) and the story.

EDIT 2: As of now, many of the previously sunset items are being brought back into the game with updated perk pools (with good and bad results), and the Devs are slowly decoupling the PvE space from the PvP space with different tuning passes as patches roll, which I believe is a fantastic move.

EDIT 3: It's been a year, and some things have improved, some have worsened. The introduction of new subclasses, mods and exotic effects have one again shifted the devs into nerfing things for no reason. I'm not sure what to think anymore.

Fantastic Soda drinking simulator. Mod support makes it even better.

Game is fantastic, the customization and addon options only make it even more of a gem.

The replayability factor is insanely high.
