i've sunk as many hours into this as i have God of War Ragnarok, and i've only just finished GOWR at 40-50hrs. I Still have many more Phases to complete in satisfactory. If you like a pretty factory with big machines able to consume hundreds of resources per minute while still somehow needing more this is the game for you.

basically factorio, in 3d and with ray tracing!

Great world, Great Graphics, Great gameplay. Good Story.

Exited for the next release on PC.

everything about this game is amazing. The main story and side content is great and it keeps
hitting after the credits roll.The post end credits content for the open world is great and makes sense. This game is 100% worth it. This is my second playthough of the game, once on ps4 and again on PC. This is a game i wish i could forget and play again.

Gameplay is great, progression is bad. I have hope they will fix it but devs are on on holiday/off atm so it may be a week(s) before a solid patch comes around.

made may game look better and did not notice a performance hit. still get 60fps with my 1050 ti

overall i love this game so far, the world is just so cool to explore and the little detail you can find are amazing. the one thing that get me is the bugs and performance . i have not had any game breaking bug or crashes but they have definitely taken me out of the 'world' and lost my immersion.

if you have not got the game yet i'd recommend that you look for benchmarks of you GPU and make sure you happy with the performance. then make sure your happy with the bugs. they have never stopped me from completing missions but are annoying. anyone else should wait until the games is updated to fix the bugs. i'm not sure what they are going to do about the performance but any RTX card is able to get 60fps it seems.

Edit : Back in 2022 and i have finally finished the game (no spoilers here) with update 1.61 its a must play for me. I only had 1 bug in my first complete play-though when i tried doing some sketch parkour on stairs.
performance is good on an rtx 3060 ti and 5600x (played with RT ultra settings with DLSS auto and locked to 40fps but i could easy get 75fps with RT off or on with only rt medium lighting with room to spare (60-80% GPU usage)
story is as good as ever, still tells a gripping story, only issue i had was getting distracted. the main missions provide you with urgency but the 'side' (side in '' because they are not in any bit lower quality. They are just as fleshed out and unique as the main quests) quests are just as engaging.

in 2020 i said wait for good updates but with the release of Edgerunners (go watch it, it is great) and with the latest update there is nothing what should stop you from picking it up.

the More, 2.0 is amazing, the addition of more features make the world feel more complete. The extra mission are also a nice add. The DLC is amazing, the areas look better and play better than the base game, They the obviously learnt what worked from the base game. The story is great and offers some nice choices for all players.

Not a walking sim, it's much more.

it also has a great sound track.
