Am a veteran from the alpha version. Got the game via the key from official site.

I've read a lot of bad (and quite an amount of good) stuff about the beta.
As I've had the key, I could try it out myself without buying a steam copy, because I wanted to believe it wasn't as bad.

Well, no. Trying to be optimistic didn't help. In comparison to alpha:
Alpha was barebones to a degree, yes.
It was repetitive, there was no quests or any sort of equipment upgrading, the only way to get better was levelling...
But it was actually fun and it worked. After basically 100% alpha, getting all the pets, seeing all the locations,
me any my friends simply waited for this game to update. Which never happened.

And here we have beta, 90 minutes of which I couldn't enjoy at all.
It hadn't even the simple repetitive content that alpha had.
It had it all replaced by bad balance, bugs, not working content, etc., etc.

Maybe it will someday be fixed and will actually be good.
But seeing as the developer took money and went silent 7 years ago, I do not believe same won't happen again.

Conclusion: I join to the massive amount of people saying "Do not buy beta, better download alpha."

The main game's awesome, no doubt.

However, this DLC has lots of balance issues, ranging from neverending assault by jets, heavy fighters, Messerschmitts, to having to manually navigate your B-17, and the game does not have manual navigation per se, above fast moving target in order to hit it.

It is possible to complete it, sure, but this DLC almost requires to grind XP and money to decently complete the next critical mission.

Wish you safe flight back home, boys and girls.

In a shellnut: A semi-realistic FTL-esque WW2 real time strategy.

You go on a mission, you try to bomb your target, not get destroyed by the insane amount of Bf.109's, Fw.190's and other Wunderwaffles, oh my god cockpit's on fire, oh my god engine's on fire, oh my god crew's on fire, oh my god Mantis boarders and lotsa other things that might rip your wing off or send your mates to heaven.

Aside from the battles you'll have to upgrade your ship plane and equip your crew with gear that suits your mission.

It is hard, it is repetitive to a degree, but it is fun, nevertheless.
Note: avoid USAAF DLC campaign at all costs, it is broken.

11/10 Your mechanic can repair engines in mid-air.

I've played and watched walkthroughs of many, many horror games.
Not a single one have made me actually have in-real-life spasms out of disturbance, fear and stress, unlike this one.
Maybe I shouldn't have completed it in one late-night run.
This game is extreme and I recommend you leaving a part of your soul in it as well.

Have a wonderful, safe day.

I'm just sitting infront of the screen, thinking what should I write in my positive review,
but the amount of thoughts and the experience this game provided are so overwhelming,
I can't really compile a review except an unfocused like this one.

Games that make you think are rare, and this one's REALLY GOOD at making you think.
So err...
If you like cyberpunk, visual novels (with some nice mini-games), debates on philosophy/psychology, detectives...
Then this would be a perfect fit for your heart and soul.

So I bought it on 90% sale, thought that it will be an "OK game to spend some time with bud through Remote Play Together".

Oh boy was I wrong.

This is an actually *really* cool RPG and we were genuinely interested in the story.
Game plays nicely, plot is good, graphics are cheerful, dialogues are funny.
My answer is an absolute yes to a question whether to buy this game or not.
But waiting for the sweet, sweet sale is recommended ;)

P.S: Second player is more of a spectator, rather than player.
They will get close to no gameplay.
They can assist in you battles, reach some of the collectibles, collect money...
And that's about it. Nevertheless me and my friend both enjoyed the game.

Short RPG Maker experience that takes ~1h to 100%.
The main idea of the "Shell" is not the most complex,
but I liked the metaphorical use of it.
English version is not ideal, some errors here and there,
though it is readable and understandable just fine.
I'd say these are nice 60 minutes to spend.
Recommended.
