Fantastic DLC. Every boss has excellent design. Surpasses the base game in every way. The last boss is harder than Malenia in every way, and yet feels fairer thanks to the decision to make a complex move-set instead of relying on crutches like healing. The Lore is intriguing and as always answers some questions while raising far more. New weapons are phenomenal, and I love how the new weapons seamlessly chain R1 and R2 attacks together. It took me far to long to let go of the Ghiza Wheel, but once I put my beloved Pizza Wheel down I thoroughly enjoyed several of the new weapons.

I only have two minor complaints. Firstly, finding the Scadutree Fragments is quite difficult by the end of the game. I never reached the Scadutree Blessing 20 maximum and I played the DLC for at least 20 hours, killing all bosses. Secondly some of the areas are very hard to reach. If it was one area like with Dark Souls 1 and Ash Lake I would be OK with it, but several areas required me squinting at the map and back tracking to locate and it lead to me feeling too strong for some of the bosses that I could tell would have been more enjoyable with less fragments. Some people will love that need to work out how to access stuff, and normally I would but it felt extra esoteric this time around.,

Overall, those are minor points though, and if you like Fromsoft, you need to play this. It is very hard, I'm not going to sugar coat that, but it is as rewarding as ever and fairer that Malenia!

Sekiro is a surprising game to come from Hidetaka Miyazaki. It has no stamina; it has cutscenes and a plot that can be understood on a surface level without watching youtube videos; it does not want you to roll 90% of the time; and the people mentioned in the lore are there for you to interact with!

Sekiro is a rhythm action game mainly focused around deflecting your enemies attacks at the appropriate time based upon the signs on the screen but I found the combat to be the most satisfying Fromsoft experience to date and I have tried all of their recent releases on numerous platforms. It has all of the things you need, such as exploration, NPC quest lines, amazing atmosphere and soundtrack.

I cannot recommend Sekiro enough. Once it clicks, it clicks and no title is as satisfying to play once it has

Really fun Co-Op game with a heavy mechanical basis to it. You can chill in Veteran or Champion with friends who are newer to the game or spend loads of hours getting good in Legend or Cataclysm. The game is far deeper than you would expect getting in to it and you can spend hundreds of hours perfecting your playstyle (I know I intend to.)

Just remember that no matter how many rats you kill, you'll never kill as many rats as Kerillian killed people at Hoggar's Bridge. Dozens she claimed...

"Hoggar's Bridge. Wait a minute... two Nuln regiments vanished without trace at Hoggar's Bridge. Elf? ELLLLLLLLF!?!?!?!"

STAR WARS Jedi: Fallen Order is a fantastic game. While a little buggy, it truly captures what I would imagine playing a Jedi learning to connect with the force again would be like. The game starts off with you feeling fairly underpowered but as you gain new powers and improve with the game mechanics as a player, you start to feel really powerful and it's great. (Avoiding saying "Feel like a Jedi" but I mean...)

To get the Dark Souls comparisons out of the way, It is a lot more like an easier Sekiro than Dark Souls. So if you liked Sekiro, play this game on Jedi Grand Master and you will have fun.

I love the angry salty reviews by bandwagon players who haven't even played the Remaster. If you don't own Dark Souls 1 and want to play online, this is the definitive version of the game. The lighting is great and the framerate is a smooth 60. Well worth the money. If you own Prepare to Die, its still only £18 for an active online community in Dark Souls 1. People need to calm down and enjoy Dark Souls again.

Pretty good, like DS1 only faster. Bosses take a leaf from Bloodborne in a good way.
Played on PS4 first
