I don’t even know where to begin with this game, but I am shocked to my core. In the Spring of 2018 I was forcefully removed from my home for starting an underground burka operation. It was a dream since I was a little dumb ♥♥♥♥♥ to bring men and women together as equals. Then, in March of 2018 a jihadi swooped into my bedroom and knocked over my dishwasher as I was making a sandwich for my man, I was violently attacked and he threw stones at me. Luckily halal sandwich meat makes for a good protective shield, chanting “praise be to Allah, women must perish”, I couldn’t see his identity through the tiny slots of my veil but I knew there was hate in his eyes. Again, he chants, this time maniacally “women!!! Here to be bred, then wind up dead!!” At this point in time I was shocked, stunned... and to be quite frank.. appalled. I tried to slam the door and tell him to get out, of course politely & I asked him if he was hungry first, but I realised my arms were still tied behind my back from my husband when he locked me in my cage for bedtime. I was helpless, beaten and spat on. I began to get frantic. Losing my senses... or maybe it was just the veil covering my eyes lol but either way I couldn’t see. I swing but my meekly weak womanly hands tremble. I think I do some damage because my oppressor seemed incapacitated. I try to grab the phone, it was just in reach because my husband had the seamstress sew a pocket into my burka. I fumble to grab it.. breathing heavily but keeping my composure and I phone the police. They pick up.. my heart stops as I wait for a voice. A human, anything that could potentially be my saviour. “As-salamu alaykum, how can we help”... I told them my situation and that there was a man attacking me. They pause momentarily and respond “we’re sending the police immediately, please give us your address.” I gave them my address and they say they’re going as fast as they can. Another unbearable 7-9 minutes go on of being called a dirty female and I start to black out. At this point I’m not sure I’ll even make it. The police get here. They bang on the door... no answer. Suddenly there’s a conundrum of loud noises and rocking as they smash down the door to get in. I feel my breathing getting lighter. Finally... someone here to help me. They’re finally here to apprehend this horrible man. They rush into the room and handcuff him. Shout at him to get on the ground. The police ask me where the keys for the cage are. I told them they’re in my husband’s room or another. They come back minutes later telling me it was in his 4th wife’s nightstand. I feel a sense of relief as I hear the lock disengage and the door starting to open. The police take me out, all of a sudden one grabs my veil off, the other grabs my hair and they start beating me. I’m dragged down the stairs and into the street. They cut holes into the burka and start humiliating me in the streets. They surround me in a circle. Telling me they have the best hummus in town. I’m crying and whimpering as they all take turns abusing me but it was quite good actually, they must’ve used fresh chickpeas... anyway, I cry and cry some more pleading for them to stop. Now a gun up to my cheek they shout in my ear “this is what happens when women call the police” I ask them why they apprehended the male attacking me then and they told me he’s under arrest for not killing me before they got there. That he disappointed our society. I’m brought to the back of the cruiser in my ripped up burka and dirt and blood stains and they bring me straight to jail. What they don’t know is my super cool phone pocket that was sewn into my burka before my husband left me for 3 other women, so I sit here... on Steam, writing to you from Baghdad, Iraq..in my cell, that oppression must be ceased. We must stop violence against women and put an end to the patriarchy. You can help me. Let’s stand united. PS. Although this game still deserved to be downvoted until From did something to fix the stuttering (still not completely fixed by no means), everything else about it makes it nearly a crime to review bomb it. As a veteran to DS/Soul-esque games with perhaps some bias, there is something really really special about this game and it just captivates you and consumes you into its hauntingly beautiful world. It is as beautiful as it is fun whilst also maintaining its notorious difficulty from previous titles. The NPCs and enemies in this game are the most unique in any of these games thus far. Miyazaki continues to show us a glimpse into his eccentric mind flawlessly. He showed us persistence in game mechanics whilst also giving us new and improved ones with a lot of fluidity as well. George R. R. Martin's writing and overarching mythos in this game were fantastic as well. The visuals and level design.. just stunning, so many epic vistas. The Torrent mechanics are also nearly flawless. It is truly an unforgettable experience from the moment you exit the ruins of the First Step as well as immeasurably comprehensive. I can foresee this getting GOTY irrevocably.

The homeless guy was the only one alive because he didn’t have teeth to eat the fish. This game is ABLEIST and encourages a culture that enables antisemitism. There is Nazi propaganda everywhere in the game and pages of the Quran used as fishing bait. This game is disgusting and the devs should be ashamed!!! Do not buy this for your kids !!!!
