Early Access Review
Witnessed a friend getting strangled to death by a ghost because their mic had picked up the sound of them breathing.

I bought this on sale. This game was not at all what I had expected, so in saying that: Oxenfree is an unexpectedly amazing game packed with chills down your spine. It is completely story based, amazing visuals, chilling soundtrack and voice acting is really well done for this, and choices DO matter in the end (bonus of receiving achievements). The characterization of this game is fantastic, the writers and the voice actors made it all too well believable.

Before getting to actually play this game I had to adjust my settings and lower the resolution because of how laggy the game was. Aside from that the controls to this game is simple and easy to follow, the only downside is not having to control when you run whenever you'd like. So often when having to walk a distance it feels more of a chore than an adventure because of how slow paced the characters are when walking. There are some areas where the pathing is really awkward but not too much of an issue.

If you're into Life Is Strange, this is definitely a game I highly recommend for you. Also gives me somewhat of a Corpse Party vibe to it. Strap yourself in for an emotional rollarcoaster. I'm not someone who's all too well for playing horror games, as much as this game freaked me out: I could not put it down. The story pulls you in with an incredible dialogue that flows naturally, and the atmosphere is stunning whilst beyond eery. It's filled with mystery, slice of life and horror. Radio frequencies have always been a creepy aspect of games and movies to me, the static sound and the inexpicable noises/voices that comes from within it. And the game focuses around that: tuning into a radio and adjusting the frequencies and running into eery audio bits from older films that loop (very often used for hints), finding a song, or hearing creepy voices. A lot of the game likes to play tricks with your mind. I would've taken my time to really look at everything, but I was honestly too creeped out by everything.

I can't say I'd probably play it again just because of the creepy aspect of it, but you never know. Overall, simply amazing.

A fantastic single-player Indie puzzle platformer game! Though I had only played through the demo version, I assure you that the first few seconds of the game is rather breathtakingly stunning with an eye captivating art visual to the game. Not only does the game have you locked onto it visually, it's music too is rather pleasing and is well fit for the game.

When navigating yourself through the game, the key controls aren't all that challenging to get by. Don't be fooled though, the game itself is rather tricky as you get further into the game and making your way through new areas. To make things more difficult you have to make your way through the map switfly to avoid death.

Fly'n is a unique styled game whereas you travel through different areas managing your way through swiftly by shifting the world and everything around you just by a press of a button to help make your way through the map. Though this game can be difficult you are granted with unlimited lives, and rather than starting from the beginning to the map, you respawn back to the checkpoint you last went through, as well as given the option to spawn back at the checkpoint if you mess up (without dying). It gives off a unique style to the game as well as unique characters with their own special features. Surely you may never look at hairdryers the same way again. Even though the game gets difficult further on, I can admit from my own short experience that it is not at all frustrating.

This has really shown some huge improvement to the progression and evolution of platformer games. Most certainly a well time consuming game that anyone would enjoy playing.

So, all in all I highly recommend this game to those who enjoy platformer games to at least try the demo out before you consider purchasing the full version. It's a fairly good deal, worth ten dollars (IMO).

A wonderful Indie game that sets you off in a good mood, this is definitely a game to consider trying out. I've only currently played the demo version, but what I can tell you from my short experience of the game is that it gives off a colorfully, vivid and beautiful visual of the game, as well as a well voiced narrative, and background music as you move throughout the game. The playstyle is simple and easy to get the hang of, and the game itself moves at a rather fast pace.

You begin your journey playing the role of a kid who had just woken up, as he continues to move around, a colorful path builds around him. The path soon begins to crumble apart as he fights his way back towards Bastion (shelter) with a select few different weapons to choose from along with some interesting abilities. That's when you begin your quest to rebuild Bastion.

AlI's I have left to say is that it has a captivating art style, and music with a wonderful narrative that will surely get you lost into the game, and if you have not tried out this game yet, I highly recommend giving it a shot.

I hope to definitely purchase the full game in the near future.

Update: I pissed myself when I saw this on sale for only $2.24 and immediately purchased it.

Glad this had finally released onto Steam. Nice and wonderful game to play with a group of friends. Not an easy game, has different game mode options, and is definitely one to make you frustrated.

Creating a blood splatted landscape is rather creative in it's own way, quite literally a blast. Just a splash of red and you're on your way to painting a masterpiece.

Humorous and fun to play along with your friends. Simply spawn millions of bouncy balls into one room and you'd have yourself one hell of a ballroom. Ballin'

Creativity at it's finest.

Looking back during the time of playing during beta, I had really enjoyed it. I loved the visual graphic style of the game itself, as well as the combat styles. But recently I took a stroll down memory lane and all I can see now is that the game had gone to ♥♥♥♥. Not worth my time anymore.

Hella lag for me, but that's all the more realistic for me, because that's me anyday on a zombie apocalyptic kind of day. Holla at me and I'll be your walking piece of fresh meat to bait the living dead.

In conclusion, I suck. Killing zambies is still cool doh.

Played the demo, I really love the art style of the game which is what had really caught my attention towards the game. It's stunningly beautiful and enjoyable to play, I loved it.
