I'm going to gloss over everything going on with the company at the moment and try to be as optimistic as possible and believe everything the Devs are saying going forward about the Sims ! I do not agree with many things behind the scenes, but that has nothing to do with my opinion of The Sims as a game.

Sims has helped me through many years of my life, Sims 3 was my usual until the last month when I was able to get the expansion / stuff packs and I feel so free. Base game you won't have much options (CC is really handy!) But even just a few packs changes how the game plays and even though I'm only at around 100~ hrs, I know this is something I'm going to be hooked and keep playing for as long as I can see.

I wish several well known bugs were fixed, (For Rent specifically personally) but its not like the game is not enjoyable, and I find some of the bugs can add to the gameplay depending on how you want to go about it.

The game isn't for everyone, its more childish and funny than more realism and matureness (like inZoi) but I do think Sims has a place in anyones heart, whether its creating a sim, building houses, telling stories through the households or just scrolling through the messy gallery looking at everything.

Sims has helped me through some of the darkest times, and I probably will always be biased because of that, but man it's an amazing game.

people forget that the ai is fully optional and not using it is not losing out on anything in the game lmao

Personally, I think its a nice break from Sims, I love the Create a Zoi and how much detail I can go into, apartments ACTUALLY working?! The graphics are also jaw dropping. I love the length of days, (I find the Sims to go by fast even on normal speed and struggling to just get little things done)

Give the game some time, it has a ton of potentional and I think people are jumping ship way too fast over one comment

Character is mad annoying and I don't even care for the channel,
But the game was one of the best racing games of the 2010s, I'll suffer with the questionable moans if it means I have a complete roaster over on Steam.

This is one of my favourite "Time-Passer" games, I've played it across various platforms over the years and I just love the entire concept. The game is a blast wither your playing solo or with friends, and they've added so much that on paper some seem weird but end up working and helping the game.

Highly recommend this silly game :)

Personally, my all time favourite game!

Besides maybe being a huge Majima fan, I think most fans are too hard on this game and not taking it for what it is. People say there's a lack of character depth, there's bugs to the point that the game is "unplayable", but I think it's a bit over-exaggerated.

The story is not by any means the best in the series, (I'd rank it personally in the middle) but without spoiling I find the characters to be way more memorable (and It might be because I won't skip scenes or any text to get to the "action") and take my time meeting people around, doing Substories, and not rushing through everything while taking in everything seeing what I can do and where I can go.

Now that I have finished the Main-Story, it hits just as hard as the other stories, don't let the funny things fool you lol. Easily plan to 100% the game, I freaking loved it.
