I'm still on my first playthrough so take this with a grain of salt. I've explored countless points of interest on the map yet I'm still able to find a new thing every day. I'm still having trouble understanding how CDPR was able to create such a saturated game with its limited resources - it's a truly amazing feat. The story has been excellent so far - from side adventures involving a village of pigs or killing a plague maiden, every part somehow manages to stay refreshing. The fantastic regions play a huge part in drawing me in as well. Considering the war-ravaged and squalid wastelands of Velen and the crime-ridden bustle of Novigrad with its cabals, Skellige offers one of the best setting shifts in recent gaming history. With its stunning snow-covered mountains, it offers a breath of fresh air (literally) from the other areas in the game. I'll update this when someday I reach the utopia of Toussaint.

Random thought: Proximity is also a theme I've noticed a lot in this game - I often wander places in Velen and wander how villagers live so close to monster nests or bandits camps. Some villagers are perfectly fine with living a short walk from a demonic ancient tree. Funnily enough, it doesn't break immersion, but instead serves to provide it - we see the desperation of many of these villagers in No Man's Land. Perhaps they're living so close to danger because they have no choice, or have just gotten used to it? I've climbed multiple places just to see different story locations from my vantage location. Climbing the hill near Downwarren, you can see Fyke Isle, Crow's Perch and Bald Mountain - it's crazy to realise that these are all places that exist in the same world, and coexist with other lighthearted characters like Dandelion. This juxtaposition just can't be found in any other game. This one is just special I'm tellin ya

200 hours in and closing in on 300 hours. This game certainly entertains and provides a great sense of accomplishment after each kill. However, the growth in the number of hackers recently make me want to smash my head in the keyboOUHGFEPIHWGHIEGohigbPHBph
