Short and complete experience. Amazing style. Smart dialogue. If you're confused about face value information, try reading between the lines.

Yeah so, we're back.

I feel like complaining today. Not because I didn't enjoy the experience, I still very much liked it. But just for a change. I know this is my jam so what point is there really in repeating that again and again ?
It's more of the same. The main experience does not change much from Off-Peak and The Norwood Suite. You walk-listen-talk your way through the world, look around and maybe press buttons or use some kind of interactable sometimes when you're graced with it. Otherwise buddy get seated because that gameplay is so immersive an ant could work it out. And do you like taking breaks ? Have to walk away and turn off the computer sometimes ? You're in luck, there's still no save function. My first thorough playthrough took me about 2 hours, and the second one to grab my missing achievements took about 45 minutes, so plan for a decent session when going in.

That's about it for the complaints, now watch me ramble a bit. The user experience was considered more this time around. Plenty of visual and dialogue related options in the settings as well as a restart button for some reason. One walking speed only now, but you automatically speed up in the outside area so running around and backtracking felt way less frustrating. Also when characters are done with their dialogue and it's about to loop, there is now a VISUAL INDICATOR that made me so happy. Woo. Soundtrack is still banging, not on Spotify so that's a shame. Pizza making is pretty cool, "make-your-own-song" type minigame. Also it's in the continuity. Yeah. Cool. I'll play the next one. And the one after.

Do not get too hung up on the cutesy art style, the raiding is ruthless. Friends will be shouted at because they play assassin and keep "forgetting' that, while they may make themselves invulnerable, you very much are not. A bit of cooperation is necessary, but the solo experience is very enjoyable too.

Story "heavy" expansion on the idea of Off Peak, with a world just as fun and an even BETTER soundtrack

The vibe is here again. It holds itself together more consistently. Things "make sense" more but that does not mean the fantasy is wholly gone, and it remains at times absolutely inscrutable. Underlying ideas and themes appear clearer to me in this one. It feels like the logical expansion of its predecessor.

Let's see where it keeps heading.

- Meaning or Vibes, pick one.

- I guess we're going all Vibes then.

A modern art gallery gets hit by a solid brick of absurdism and a uniquely good soundtrack.

The kind of experience that gives me the Wyrd. Subtle symbolism to look deeper into (or not) is a funny thing. That I may choose to think about what is "really" going on or not does not change the intent behind what has currently been put forward. I can never get the full understanding unless I was to speak with the author directly, and that is a fine thing. Maybe it's the lack of definite answers that gives me goosebumps, or the fact I make my own.

Regardless, with the popularization of AI usage in modern creative processes this "kind" of experience will become rarer and rarer. It is likely we already can't tell the difference between this and GPT generated garbage. But that is what makes it more valuable. A truly organic human mess.

I liked it :)

Very cute and well-contained writing experience. The art and the music is charming, and the concept that comes along with creating with restrained capabilities leads to results ranging from interesting to deeply satisfying. Give it a shot, it's free :)
