Sony have still blocked the game from purchase in over 170 countries.

I love this game but I am getting very tired very quickly of its publisher.

Strike two, Sony.

Let me be entirely clear: For a good long while, this game was glorious.

Then it got updated and now I can't access it in my steam library, despite owning it. Good job GW, you've screwed the last good thing about 40k.

Best spaceman simulator I've ever had the pleasure to play. I only play the untimed shifts (I don't need that kind of stress in my life), and it's an excellent way to just chill and burn time.

If you poke a ship wrong, the whole damn thing will explode, so don't do that. I missed out on a quota because a barrel slagged half the ship.

FTL: Faster Than Light is an absolute classic of a game. It's simple and easy to learn, but incredibly difficult to master. If you like a challenge if any part of you harks back to the old console games of yesteryear, if you like nostalgia and space battles and strategy and just absolutely excellent music, you're almost guaranteed to love FTL. And really, it's only ten bucks. If you have the cash to spare and the time to learn it, the question you ought to be asking yourself is, "Why not?"

Don't be fooled by the low playtime Steam shows you. I bought this off of itch.io months before it was released on steam, and played it for ages. Core Defense is a novel approach to the standard Tower Defense genre, with various randomly generated and unlockable upgrades and towers to play with.

Most towers are somewhat underwhelming at first, but once you've upgraded them a fair bit they become utterly devastating. My personal favorite is the Lightning. If you get the right upgrades, you can solo the first few stages of the game.

That's another thing Core Defense has - extreme replayability. With no less than 20 Overload levels of ever-increasing challenge, you can easily spend hours trying to crack the next level, and with Endless Mode on the way, you can truly test your mettle.

Overall, I highly recommend Core Defense. It's ten bucks for a game that, while admittedly simple in concept, is an incredibly rewarding test of luck and skill. If you have some cash to spend, why not give it a try?

Better with friends, though Bosco's a decent stand-in. Drinking alone makes you sad, though, and honestly the beer is half the fun.

Space Engineers. What a game.

You had such potential. Now look at you. Look at what you've become.

A house of cards, broken code piled on broken code, such that any attempt to fix a bug pulls the whole game down on top of you. Half a dozen useless DLCs, overpriced and underwhelming. Multiplayer still as broken as ever, memory leaks infesting any sustained session, and graphics 'upgrades' consisting of too many lens flares and vision-obstructing helmet gunk.

Now I find that, rather than build a better game, you've used the profits from this mess to buy a mansion. A ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ mansion, in Prague. I did not think my expectations could get any lower.

Do yourselves and this community a favor. Stop touching this game, and let the modders fix what you've so thoroughly botched. We already have the start of something decent in WeaponCore, and the more you break the game the harder it will be for someone actually competent to fix it.

Early Access Review
I've been playing a bit, and I think that it's just not worth my time. It crashes easily 10x more often than any of my other games, and it's extremely glitchy. I've had around a hundred kills in single player, and it consistently boots me off, not even giving me experience or loot. I have not tried premium, nor will I.

Just recently, after maybe 15 minutes in single player, I was at 95 kills, and was about to get another when a message box appeared saying 'You will go back to mothership'. For those who don't know, the mothership is essentially main menu. There was no option to close out the message. There was only an accept button, which, having been clicked, brought me back to the menu with NOTHING to show for my time. I refuse to waste my time on a game that doesn't even give you the satisfaction of leveling up without constant harassment.

Trust me, folks. It's not worth it.
