This is such a classic! I loved playing this game for years, and it's still challeging after all these years. It's pretty interesting to battle your way into world power, but at times it felt rushed, or the time went too fast.

Still one of my favorite strategy, builder games that has nice twists and chellenges.
Recommend for any age.

Banished is definitelly time consuming game, I've played more than 100 hours and I've always felt to be at a challenge, which is good. I think it really teaches about balance and local economy. The objectives are challenging, but it takes time to build a pretty awesome town.

Pros:
-challenges
-system of physics and realistic production time
-controls and stats
-great amount of time with interesting twists
-nice soundtrack
-good graphics for this level and size

Cons:
-not clear to how people are controlled
-predictability (element of surprise of challenge fades away after 40 years)
-sound loops are way too generic (sound design might need some work)
-not a clear way to expand beyond (end challenge)

Overall, if you liked playing Civilization or Rise of Nations, but without the battles and more about building a society from scratch, this is perfect. I never really got bored, becasue it's pretty challenging. Wish the level of details was worked out on sound design. After 100 hours of play the loops can play with your head. =)

I've enjoyed previous game ANNO2070 and this is a great continuation of the style, story and challenges. I love the idea of Moon bases, when I first heard of it, but playing the game it really is just another base that has slightly more challenging environment than Arctic. The graphics in this game are 10/10. I love every detail. Very futuristic and educational on how resources, which kind and how much are used. Sound design is also 10/10, plus the music. Very well done. The part that didn't amaze me was the battles and wars you have to fight. They all seem to be the same, with just different level of challenge. I though that game could have had better storytelling to that point. Winning the game also doesn't give you any indication, I've played very long and pretty much at the point of winning all skills and challenges, but the game just continues. With maybe, more enjoyable missions, shorter battles and more storytelling to the war/resistance, this game will be 10/10. At this point it's more like 7/10 for me. Still highly enjoyable.

This is a beautiful sandbox that I had no idea existed. There's so much physics involved that it makes my head spin, but overall with the presets of amazing builds there's plenty to play around with for beginners. I think the interface needs more refindment, hover-over states to help player understand what each little command/adjustment does. I only had to press buttons to understand or see what's going on, sometimes you don't even see what's happening, becasue of complex physics. Time scale needs improvements, I had no idea of the time control. As this is still in early beta, I hope it gets even more amazing by the end. I loved the different collisions, explosions and gravitational dances. Definitelly worth every penny.

This is a nice extension of Torshlight. I like the improvements all over the game, especially trading, weapons and attacking. What's interesting is that it still feels way too much like the Torchlight 1, the music is almost unchanged, character elements look very similar and the story line might have needed more imagination. I like the improved graphics on small effects, elements and shadowing. Nicely done. Still playing, very excited.

This game started on the right track. The graphics are great, except the cheesy robot characters or cartoony elements of people. I think the game would be much more concrete if it was a bit more serious. I like the sound effects and robot talk, sounds like AI talking when you're trading, sending off rockets or sabotage. Nice touch.

It's a bit hard to start, and to get the system. Limit of placements is making it prety hard to adjust mid-game as reource buying/selling shifts fast.

Overall this is a game that I've never seen before. It combines nice elements or building, trading, attacking and excellent system of value and resource gathering. I cannot wait to see it fully developed.

Very fun upgrade from Tropico 4. There has been refinemend of modern politics, graphics, economy and space program are all pretty nice now. I've come close to finishing the story mode in about 15 hrs. Wish it was a bit longer. For $40, this is nice, fun game.

Takes a lot of time to get used to the controls. You kinda have to understand physics as any sudden, wrong push will send you spinning like a blender. I like the graphics, the moon surface, very nice. Pretty great game for people with patience.

This game is awesome. I love the soundtrack and the simplicity of the storyline. The way you start over is great, because it lets you learn from your mistakes. The pixel art is beautiful too, so many clevere interactions with the camp you're building, then the bigger camp, then town and all the defences from the creeeeeeepy little killers. Defenitelly worth it!

This is a great start! I'm glad I got the early access to the game. I have enjoyed it a lot. It's definitelly not as polished yet, but the core idea and story is there. There needs to be much more work on GUI, the buttons are not as obvious and should let the player know a bit more about the status of the colony. The main idea about this, futuristic colony is that the technology would be so advanced that you should have artificial intelligence in a way that you can control and set. Right now you're in charge of everything and it can be overwhelming sometimes.

Graphics are very nice, the resouces graphics are bit "cartoony" wish it was more realistic. The economy is good, but there are a lot of questions about why do colonies need "alcohol" or "guns." You only find out when crisis happens, which is weird.

Reality is a bit stretched here too. Mars doesnt have frequent sand storms, they would barely move a human walking, the atmosphere is so thin, those winds are gust gentle pushes. From this, the win-turbines might not produce enough power, so solar energy or other alternative ways should be looked at. Water is stretched too. There's no recycling of water? Just pumping from ground? That's not how advanced colony would work on another world.

I would give this game 7/10 right now. With becoming Beta or Final, I hope it gets polished.
