Love this game, great community that holds the line against stupid corporation decisions from Sony

The new devs who took over for the original team Black Matter have decided to drive this once great game into the ground, by releasing rushed and unfinished updates, make divisive core mechanic changes without community input, and now releasing dog water trailers for the PC Gaming show, that looks like it was made by high school students phoning it in.

No seriously, the difference in quality between the trailers on the store page, made by Black Matter, and the new one that just came out by the new team is literally night and day! It's beyond pathetic.

This game has peaked and is now on a slow and steady decline, I would not recommend this game to any new players. Find your WWII fun elsewhere, because it's no longer here.

Early Access Review
The only Early Access game I've played where it's fun to crush bugs for development

If you're a big fan of other sci-fi franchises, from Star Wars to Star Trek, from Babylon 5 to Dune, and still haven't played the Mass Effect Trilogy yet, why on Earth haven't you?

Mass Effect sincerely rivals Halo and others as one of the best new Sci-Fi universes to be birthed since the year 2000.

The ONLY thing holding the Mass Effect universe back at this point is their publisher EA themselves, who seem content on making the quickest and largest returns on their investments in the short term, at the sacrifice of any long term gains and consumer praise, rather instead of investing any serious effort into their more promising IPs, and developing a long term, steady flow of profit from a loyal and invested fan base with more books, comics, animated features, tv series and the like that other prominent sci-fi franchise get to enjoy.

But yeah these games are incredible and rival the likes of Game of Thrones, Stranger Things and whatever else big tv shows that I never actually watched tbh, because the story of Mass Effect was that for me.

This is seriously one of the best antigrav racing games on steam, the level of customization on the graphics alone is a love letter to Wipeout from the PS1 era, let alone the devs continued support and level of polish the still add to this game, on top of all the great mod support it has!

I've been morbidly curious about this game since it came out, only to be destroyed in mostly bad reviews of it, so I never bought it. However the game became on sale for 50% for $3.19, and after playing for under 30 minutes, it's not even worth that much sadly.

Do not buy.

You call yourself a gamer? Then you owe it to yourself to play and beat DOOM at the gentleman's difficulty level Ultra Violence. Otherwise you're nothing but an unironic filthy casual!

This game is an absolute fever dream of early 90's, late night MTV programming if Quentin Tarantino at the time was given copious amounts of psycho-hallucinogenic drugs, took one look at DOOM, before doing a line of Columbian coke off of Uma Thurman's ass, and proclaiming "F U C K! I can do better than THAT p u s s y s h i t! Watch this NERDS!" Than proceeding to verbally abuse and mentally scar a few unlucky mid 20's game developers for the next several months, who thought they struck it big when they applied for the titalizing job application for a doom clone game project headed by Tarantino himself on some jobs message board on their AOL dial up connection. God help us all.

Enjoy the seizure inducing game play!

Early Access Review
Now I don't write reviews very often, but I have to get the word out about this game, and all the great potential this has.

It's only got 7 or so levels in its current state that are all on the short side, that can be completed in 3 minutes or less each. They act more as time trials, where with repeated play you try to achieve the perfect run. There is also an endless mode where you are locked in an arena with increasingly difficult waves of enemies and limited health packs. It has a great, if janky physics engine that can be comedic at times, with slowmo, diving, karate kicking, and dual welding anything and everything.

What gives this game such great potential, is its community created content. While it's current map creator is rather archaic and cluncky in design, with future iterations of the map creator, endless and potentially limitless content will be at everyone's fingertips! Longer levels can be created, actual miniature campagins can be created!

In it's current state, it's definitely fun, and worth a purchase to support the dev, but it still needs more content and polish before I would consider it a MUST BUY for fans of 80's action cheese.

7/10, lots of potential
