This is not so much a game as it is a meditation process. Ah, the future that might have been...

UPDATE: After Sony deciding to reconsider -- https://twitter.com/PlayStation/status/1787331667616829929 -- I am changing my recommendation to positive, the game is good. The original review below.

---

The game is good. Like really good. Like really, really, really good.

But now it is going to require a PSN account, and it is all kinds of terrible. Just my personal story: I have a PSN account. If I login and put a wrong password, it will throw an error, as expected. If I login from a new browser, it will ask for a confirmation code from email, that's normal. But if I login with the correct password and correct confirmation code, IT WILL RETURN TO HOME PAGE. So effectively I can't login. Why? I don't know, and I can't know. Was my account banned? I don't know, and I can't know. Was my account hacked? I don't know, and I can't know. What should I do? I don't know, and I can't know. I think you see the pattern.

I linked the game to PSN, and it worked. Probably. At least I don't have prompts to do it. I didn't like the experience at all, but I gave it a pass, after all it was optional. But now it is going to be MANDATORY and it is EXPLICITLY for BANNING (if only there was something on Steam like VAC… But Valve doesn’t know a thing about running online games, only Sony does /s)

Will the game just stop working for me because something is wrong with my PSN account? I don't know, but I guess I'll find out the hard way soon enough.

If you liked Remnant: From the Ashes, you'll LOVE Remant II. The core gameplay loop is the same, but pretty much aspect of it was improved, from small QoL improvments to extremely deep character customization and secrets within secrets within secrets.
The game is challeging all right, but it really rewards a thought-out build and teamplay. Charater power level is important, but honestly I was struggling much more in the beginning when I was at zone level and had no idea what I am doing than I am now when I max level (and so always BELOW zone level) and have a build that would OP, if not for even more OP alternatives. Also, you can always lower the difficulty and still get almost all the content :)

Kinda like Factorio in 3D... but more forgiving, more stupid, and same amount of fun

This is NOT a Factorio clone. This a belt-management/tower defense/offense game in its own right. Simple but deep mechanics, easy to start - hard to master, open develpment, what else do you need? :)

Minecraft meets SpaceChem. Start humbly and build MASSIVE industrial empire. You will go through three stages: "How can i build it?" - "How can I build it effectively?" - "How do I make it scale?". The end goal is vague, but the process is awesome. Highly recommended.
