Doesn't feel as good as the original and all characters talk way too much.

A solid experience with reasonable variety, mechanically sound.

The puzzles themselves are quite fun, but unfortunately there is a problematic imbalance of stuff to do between the two roles. In some missions your Hacker has a lot to do, but the Agent has to just sit around with a thumb up their arse. Most of the rooms don't have anything extra to interact with, just the mission essentials.

Game received trough a promotional campaign by AMD.

Positives:

- Combat feels nice and tight.
- World is beautifully crafted and traversing it feels nice.
- Lore and story quite nice.

Negatives:

- Surprisingly short.
- Armour sets matter quite little.
- No incentive to complete side activities.
- Story ends quite poorly.

If there was an option to review a game as "Neutral" I would do so.

The Towers of Time are BS and are unfun to play, yet there is a healthy chunk of cosmetic items locked in them. Certain elements of the progression system are designed to be slow and annoying, most likely to push people towards the un-necessary microtransactions. The Krypt is still the same Krypt with a lot of filler and new currencies which are slow af to acquire.

As much as I hate to do this. . The game doesn't deserve a positive review on PC. Capcom has no idea what they are currently doing regarding how content is handled on the platform. Little to no communication about content drops or just the very basic fixes to the core gameplay on PC. Iceborne, the upcoming DLC hasn't gotten a release window on PC and rumours state that it won't be out on PC before 2020.

Then there is the ever going problem regarding Denuvo, which pirates have linked to the connection problems. The Denuvo for this game has been cracked, so why hasn't Capcom patched it out?

I love the game, it's fun to play and really enjoyable. . .as long as you can ignore the content on the console version.

I'll update this review if Capcom starts communicating to their customers, to give us release windows or roadmaps.. Basically if they do anything regarding these problems.
