Pete Parsons would rather gut the game's development team than take a pay cut himself because he clearly cares more about his car collection than the studio and franchise he's overseen since Halo 2 and Destiny's inception and all the people who now used to work at Bungie.

I held off putting up a negative review when Lightfall came around because I knew the problems that were presented in that DLC were temporary and likely a strategic move to make the final chapter of Destiny's Light and Dark Saga good. And it was good, not perfect, but good. And Pete decided that wasn't enough. Instead the game is now shaping up to go into a bare minimum content plan, rather than engaging on another saga of story within Destiny's rich lore, once this year's "Episodes" are complete.

I can only hope the developers and writers actually working on this game make good content despite Parson's selfish decisions. Destiny is a good game, with story, gameplay, challenge, and fun. But with the Layoffs after Lightfall and now after Final Shape, the quality of Destiny will inevitably decline over the next year or so despite the remaining developers best efforts, simply because it now lacks many core developers that had worked on Destiny for years.

I just cannot recommend this game anymore, it doesn't have a future now, not because it's done, finished, or complete. But because management decided it just wasn't worth doing anything more.

Bungie promised 10 years of Destiny, and I guess we got just that.

Good game, play it.

Possibly the most fun I've ever had with a game, and if you know anything about "flow state" this game is the definition of it. Everything feels fair, if you die it means you slipped up somewhere. There's no instant kill attacks, healing is done by being up close to an enemy you damage so there is zero slowdown to the combat. All action, all the time, pure adrenaline. Every weapons has a use and never becomes obsolete. The first pistol you get in the game is also the crux of some of the strongest combos.
Simply, play the demo, it's only a fraction of what the game can provide (And it's a bit outdated) but it's plenty to get the feel of it, even with half of the guns available to you it was more than enough to sell the game for me. Also watch Maxor's video if you don't mind spoilers, if you can even remember what you just watched...
