- The whole game is fighting in chamber arenas, which get boring and tedious very quickly.
- The melee combat is done smoothly and nicely, but it's easily abusable with a kick.
- And most importantly, the enemies here are zombies and skeletons, not humans, so you don't feel the impact of blows and combat in general (like in B&S, for example).

+ The game is actively supported by the developers and still regularly receives updates. Maybe the release of mods and workshop support will change the situation, but now...

= Better than ToG, but worse than B&S.

A raw game that was abandoned, with a crooked campaign, broken balance and “jelly” combat.

Even with a big discount the game is not worth it, and if you want the best VR experience in a similar genre, you better buy B&S right away.

It's a VR masterpiece that's worth a full price.

And now for the bad news:
• Online ranges between 15-30 players, almost the entire campaign I went through alone, although the session was always open to everyone.
• After the campaign, there is nothing to do in the game, as no one is practically playing (even on default difficulty!).
• The trials are dead.
• Survival mode makes little sense, there is generally no purpose or interest here.
• And the saddest thing for me, as a hardcore fan, is that no one plays on high difficulty levels.

With all my love for this game and respect for the developers, who made the game almost entirely in two, after going through one single campaign, there is nothing more to do here and no one to play with.

Overall it's a very drab shadow shooting simulator.

Unfortunately, I didn't know about the 2 week refund rule, so I couldn't return the game through Steam support.
Developers, please give me a refund.

The best co-op of all time. A timeless classic of the genre.
It's unbelievable that in a decade no one has even been able to make a decent clone.
