Visuals & Style: The game nails its vintage atmosphere. Averno City in 1983 looks fantastic, with really nice graphics that give it a distinctive noir-cop drama vibe. The third-person perspective mixed with top-down-esque driving segments (very GTA-style) works surprisingly well and adds to the retro charm. It’s one of the most stylish police games I’ve seen in a long time.

Stability: I didn’t run into any major bugs. Some minor things like getting stuck once or twice happened, but nothing game-breaking.

The Disappointing Parts

Repetitive Gameplay: This is the biggest issue. After a while, you’re just doing the same thing: roam the city, check IDs, search suspects, arrest them. Then repeat. There’s barely any variation between one traffic stop and the next.

Dry Story: The overall narrative is just okay. Some mildly interesting moments, but it feels like filler until the final mission, which is actually great. It made me wish the rest of the game had been at that level.

Lack of Features: Why is there no questioning system? No meaningful dialogue with civilians? No unique outcomes for different stops? The potential was there, but the world feels oddly lifeless in terms of interaction.

Balance Issues

You can farm XP ridiculously fast by jumping into the plane and spamming vehicle control. I gained 12–15k XP in minutes, which just breaks the leveling system. It’s not well balanced, and it kills any sense of rewarding progression.

Final Thoughts

Is it worth the money? Honestly, not quite.... You can complete the game in 6–7 hours, and aside from unlocking a better car, there’s not much to come back for. I liked the game, and I’ll definitely keep an eye on future updates — but right now, it feels like a missed opportunity.

Verdict:
The Precinct looks fantastic and has a great setting, but it suffers from shallow, repetitive gameplay and underdeveloped systems.
Masterpiece → Stylish but lacking

Its fun, - there are some bugs, but overall its a great succesor to payday 2.

Amazing game, won it while gambling all of my hard earned money - my family is now poor, my kids are starving and my sister / wife left me.

I had a good time, would and will play again.

Just played 8 Hours at once with a friend, one of the best games i ever played.

Kennengelernt habe ich diese wundervolle Anwendung durch den Amerikanischen Raum, nach dem Lets Play der Herrengesellschaft: "Piet Smiet" habe ich dann selbst ins Portemonnaie gegriffen und die äußerst ertragbare Summe bezahlt.

Die, so eben beschriebene Entscheidung, habe ich nicht bereut, das investierte Geld hat sich mehr als meine Bitcoin investition gelohnt! - Selten so viel Spaß in einem Videospiel gehabt.

Selbstverständlich ist das Spiel alleine nicht spielbar, also suchte ich mir meine Altherrengesellschaft wieder zusammen und wir hatten das Vergnügen.
